CHAPTER 42, LOST.

" we should start to head off now, the sun is at its highest point." Cane said, looking up at the sky, then turning to the rest of her group.
" do you think?"
" yes, sure cane!" Scourge said, going red as she scratched her short hair.
" alright, come on. Maisy, Jewel, get over here" they waved the other groups goodbye, and ventured off into the friendship forest.
" we have one goal, and we can't get distracted team. We must find Sabrina" cane said as she adjusted her bag.
" okay, that makes us. Me, opal and Lizz will go now too," Leo fiddled with his bag, trying to avoid eye contact with Opal.
" yes, I agree, Leo. We'd better be off as cane said. Bye, scarlet and Kal. Good luck!" Opal called and walked along side Leo and Lizz.
" okay...let's go I guess" scarlet said, hoping that she can regain her friendship with Kal on the way, after Sophie being invited to the tower he was not happy.
They walked off, but into a different route then the others.
Kal and scarlet decided to go left, Opal,Leo and Lizz had went right and cane, scourge, Maisy and Jewel went straight forward.
" okay...so if we are looking for summer, element of....forgiveness." Scarlet said as she looked at a map of magestia.
" how about we go to the ancient ruins first?"
" no, we've went there before when Leo went missing, and only Opal was there. And so did Opal and Izzy, when they went to look for cane. Let's try somewhere else" Kal said dryly.
Scarlet rolled her eyes.
"Fine."

" can you two follow along? You're so behind! And scourge, come too." Cane said, scavenging for any beasts or creatures nearby.
Scourge adjusted his pace to walk in the same area cane did.
Maisy and Jewel behind, whispering and laughing with each other.
Cane stopped them, sniffed the air and licked her finger. " I think we should go that way," she pointed to a darkish route, shaded by trees and bushes.
" why?" Jewel asked, flicking her hair.
" I mean, it looks quite disgusting and gross over there" Jewel added to her sentence.
Cane sighed.
" we are going on a mission to find Sabrina. We need to work together!"
Scourge turned and looked disappointed at Jewel.
" come on, take this as an opportunity to fulfil my deal, Maisy, and help Jewel out" scourge grunted as they all ventured towards the muddy, dark route.

The sun was at its highest point now, and Opal looked around the sunny forest, not knowing where to go.
Lizz looked confused, " I'm sorry, what's happening here? Why do you look so worried? You look as dead as a rat" Lizz asked, but then covering her mouth.
Leo turned angrily, " Lizz be nice! Opal doesn't look like a rat, in fact she's beautiful....and.." his words trailed off as he realised what he was saying. Opal turned to him confused.
" what was that, Leo?" She asked, scratching her head.
" oh, nothing!" He smiled, trying not to show his fear. Lizz looked at him with an amused expression. Leo ignored it.
" whys it taking so long? Can't you just use your super speed or something?" Lizz asked.
Opal swayed her head.
" nope, not if I don't know where I'm going" Opal shrugged.
" who are we even looking for? I hardly know anything!" Lizz huffed, but tried to look happy anyway.
" we are looking for coco, and she's the element of love...so I'm guessing where she'll be might have something to do with that." Opal scanned the map for any locations which could be helpful.
" want any help, Opal?" Leo asked.
" no, it's okay. I think I've got it, follow me"
