Chapter 9

It's been a few months,

Miguel sent me to my mom's house because he will go on a business trip

His now driving me to my mom's house

His hands traveling up and down on my thighs

He looked at me and said

“i'll miss you baby.”

I smiled and replied to him

“i'll miss you too!”

I grinned

Few minutes later

I'm now sitting on my old room

I heard my mom scream

“SOFIA! YOU GODDAMN WOMAN!”

what did i do? It's the first time my mom cursed at me

“mom, I'm coming!”

I went to the kitchen where my mom is

I saw her pointing a knife on me

“mom..”

I said with a shaky voice

“what do you think you're doing?! Sitting around and not helping?!”

She hitted me hard with her Spatula

Months later

Her treatment changed. She's not the mom i once knew.

She was not the sweetest and caring mom i once knew, she's now an alcoholic cruel woman

Now I'm sitting on the couch tending to the wounds she gave me while crying

I tried to cry quietly but i can't do it.

My sobs filling the room

I heard my mom's footsteps

“YOU GODDAMN WOMAN, WHAT ARE YOU CRYING FOR?! DO YOU WANT ME TO GIVE YOU SOMETHING TO CRY ABOUT?!”

She was about to hit me with her alcohol bottle

Suddenly the door flung open, revealing a man

It was Miguel!

He pulled a pistol from his pocket and pointed it on my mom's head

“Touch her again and you'll die.”

He said with an furious tone

My mom quickly dropped her bottle and raised her hands in surrender

Miguel quickly picked me up and kissed my forehead

He placed me gently on the passenger,  and kissed my forehead offering some comfort

He drove to the nearest clinic,

He talked to the nurse and the nurse healed me

I fell asleep on his arms

When i woke up i saw him kissing my forehead

“hmm... Why is everything spinny?”

He hushed me and continues to kiss me

He comforted me and kissed my forehead down to my jaw

“baby.. I love you.”

He said

I smiled and say

“i love you too! Hehee”
