CHAPTER 23

On reaching Ravi and Arjun were welcomed by MR and MRS RAI and other family members.
Mrs Rai welcomed Ravi and Arjun by arti ki thali and asked Ravi to kick the kalash of rice and then enter the house.
Ravi's footprints with sindhoor were taken on Arjun's white shirt as it's auspicious to keep your wife's footprints who is also the Lakshmi of the house on a white cloth. 

Ravi's handprints with turmeric were all over the house's wall.

"Ravi dear go and get changed in a simple cotton suit do not wear even any slightest of jewellery or makeup, go fast." Mrs Rai ordered Ravi. 
Though Ravi was a bit confused. 
 But still did as her mother-in-law asked to.

when she returned there she saw a stool was present which was made up of real gold and Mrs Rai asked her to sit on it. 

"Ravi dear this is the most important ritual of our family. In this ritual, the husband does the slightest makeup and shringar of his wife which symbolises that the husband will always keep his wife happy and protect her shringar. 
which indicates that the husband will always keep his wife happy as a woman only gets dolled up when she is satisfied on the inside, a woman looks beautiful the most when her heart is glad. 
Protecting the jewellery means, he will never let any such situation come that can anytime cause her to lose her jewellery." 
Mrs Rai explained. Listening to this Ravi's eyes glistened with tears that how thoughtful a ritual can be.

Ravi gets seated and Arjun begins with jewellery. There are thousands of options to choose from and the choice is given to Ravi.
"Choose whichever bangles you like," Arjun said pointing towards the different bangles set. 

"What will you do with the other bangle sets" Ravi asked innocently 
"Simple donate them" Arjun spoke nonchalantly 
Ravi gasped listening this, all the jewellery there was pure gold and diamonds.

BANGLES -----> BAJUBAND---> PAYAL---> MANG TIKA---> EAR RINGS---> RINGS--> NOSE RING--> 
NOW TURN TO MAKEUP 
"Arjun picks up the moisturiser and applies to Ravi's face gently. To which Ravi was utterly shocked and asked 
"You know how to do makeup" 
"Of course my love I know well I learnt some days back because I know this ritual is also there."
Arjun spoke shrugging off

Within a  day Ravi gets so many surprises that she is still in shock 
After the makeup, Arjun styled Ravi's hair better than Ravi could do.

"Okay now Ravi you and Arjun will leave for their new house that we bought for you both.
But before that, as it is already morning, I want you to prepare anything for your first rasoi and everyone please go and get changed."
Mrs Rai said.
For First Rasoyi Ravi was confused about what to make so she made some poori sabji as almost everyone in the house loves it but knows that her husband is diet conscious so just for him she made Poha. She doesn't know why she gave this special treatment to her husband.
In sweet dish she made kheer. 

After some time everyone arrived at the dining table.

"Ravi dear you also sit we all can serve ourselves." Mrs Rai said to Ravi lovingly. 
"MHMH Bhabhi you made kheer hnn? Our Arjun's favourite" Sanjay said teasing Ravi 
 To which she was shocked because she had no idea that Arjun loves Kheer. 

"OHho Ravi special poha for your diet conscious husband hnn? very nice" Mrs Rai said teasingly.
Byt this time Ravi was a whole tomato. 

Arjun was looking at Ravi with a serious gaze. 
Due to his constant stare Ravi could not focus on food, due to which she choked. 
"Careful Ravi where is your focus." Arjun exclaimed worried. 
"Sorry" Ravi apologised. why?  It just felt like that.

"After having your breakfast Arjun put all the bags in the car and leave for the new house okay? And also buy everything that Ravi may need okay? She doesn't need to ask you to buy her something. Everything should be there for your wife." 
Mr Rai explained more like ordered Arjun. 
{ EVEN I NEED A FATHER IN LAW LIKE THIS} 

After the breakfast was completed Arjiun and Sanjay kept everything in the car.
Sanjat gave a gift to Arjun. It was a pack of condoms. to which arjun replied.
"Bro come on she has not allowed me to touch her yet." Arjun said angrily. 

"Dont worry bro your innocence is about to be proven, after dropping ravi home come to our secret office. I promise you that you will celebrate your first night today itself." 
Sanjay said determined. 

Arjun hugged sanjay tightly and said 
"If you were not there my life would never be this peaceful thank you so much bhaii" 

They both shared a brotherly hug. And separated when Ravi came. 

"are you ready for departure?" Arjun asked 
to which ravi nodded.
