Chapter 2: How They Had Their Third

It has been 2 years since the twins were born, and at that point, Lisa and Jennie decided to have another child, as they had planned on having 4 kids. They talked to their twins at first, who didn’t mind and adorably argued as Luna wanted a sister while Lukas wanted a brother, and with that, they planned on having their third.

As they scheduled their IVF appointment, Lisa told Jennie that she wanted to be the one to carry their child, much to Jennie’s surprise. Lisa explained to her that after what happened she didn’t want to risk it again, and Jennie thought this was sweet and asked Lisa if she’s ready to get pregnant, to which Lisa replied she is, and she always wanted to experience what it’s like and give her wife a rest. Hearing her reply made Jennie smile at Lisa, who then joked that she’s going to be the one taken care of, which Jennie says she doesn’t mind since Lisa will be the one carrying their child.

The IVF appointment proceeded, and they had to wait another week to see if it would work. As one week had passed, Lisa decided to check with a pregnancy test, and after a while, she saw the results that made her smile and went to call Jennie, who was busy looking into her fashion line of business. “Yes, Lis, is everything all right?” she asked her. “It worked!” she excitedly told her, and hearing that made Jennie smile wider upon hearing that and promise that she’ll be home soon and they’ll both share the news with their kids. After Jennie went home, they told her kids about the news, and they were so happy that they’d have a sibling. Jennie made them promise to help their Maê during the pregnancy, and they promised her that they would.

As another month has passed, Jennie and Lisa have learned about the craving Lisa is now experiencing. They learned that Lisa’s senses are fully heightened, and the smell of raw foods that are being cooked will make her vomit. They learned about that when a friend who was visiting decided to cook for Lisa, slightly ignoring Jennie’s instructions, and while the friend feared for their lives, Lisa told them that they were fine and she wouldn’t get mad (she kind of did for a bit), and with that, they learned new information during Lisa’s pregnancy. And if you ask Jennie, she will say that she’s fine with it, as Lisa was able to handle all of her ridiculous cravings, which Jennie can handle, and even though Lisa will crave different foods under 30 minutes, Jennie is fine and will handle everything, even waking up at 3:00 am for that, as it’s worth it.

Lisa was glad she wasn’t alone during the pregnancy as Jisoo was with her as she’s pregnant with her second child, and amusingly enough, Rosé is also pregnant as, like Lisa, she doesn’t want to risk it after what happened to Sofia, and they joked that it would be complete if Jennie was pregnant, which made them laugh as they continued to hang out like old times. And as her belly started growing, Lisa revealed to the world that she was the one who’s pregnant, which surprised a lot of people. She then explained her reasons, making a lot of people think that it was very sweet of her to do that for Jennie.

And today was the day they learned the gender of their third baby, and to their happiness, the child was healthy, and they’re having a boy. When they told their kids that Lukas was happy, Luna was annoyed but happy that her sibling was healthy. And fast forward to the 7th month, and Lisa was just talking to Jennie in the kitchen when she felt something. “What’s wrong?” Jennie said in worry. “Huh, so that’s what a baby kicking feels like.” Lisa replied, shocking Jennie as she went over to place her hand and felt their son move, making her very happy. Then they called their kids, who at first were a bit scared and amazed and asked if they did that in their Omma’s tummy, and Jennie told them they did, and they kept moving a lot. Lukas asked why their Maê’s tummy looked different from their Omma’s picture, and they explained it was because she carried twins and their Maê is carrying one child, and they immediately understood and couldn’t wait to meet their brother.

Fast forward a bit, and now Lisa’s currently in her ninth month, and they’re just waiting for when Lisa gets into labor. Currently, Lisa and Jennie are in the living room watching TV. Lisa decided to get up, and Jennie followed suit, but before she could exit the living room, she felt something. “Um, Jen, I think my water just broke,” Lisa said, and after that, she was rushed to the hospital, while Lukas and Luna are now being taken care of by Lisa’s parents. Jennie was by Lisa’s side as she was in labor for 4 hours, and thankfully she was successfully able to give birth to their baby boy. Lisa was so glad to see him, and they noticed he has both the features of Lisa and Jennie, but it’s more Lisa’s, as they noted as they stared at him.

They were moved to the room after Lisa gave birth, and everyone arrived to see their son. The twins were the first ones to be introduced as Lukas and Luna stared at their sibling, “He’s small.” Luka said, “Of course he’s small; he’s a baby sweetie.” Jennie told him, then Luna stared at her parents: “What’s his name?” she asked them. “His name is Alexander Manoban-Kim.” Jennie introduced their third son to them. “Well, now we know who named the kid,” Jisoo joked as Cassandra then moved to look at the child. “We have a sibling now too, Cass,” Lukas said to Cassandra, who nodded. “Jason has a friend now,” she noted with a smile, while everyone thought he was adorable. Jisoo then mentioned that they will have another friend when Eun-woo arrives next month.

After introducing him to their fans, the two stared at their son with love in their eyes, happy to have a new member of the family and Lisa was glad that nothing bad happened to her wife and son. And like the promise they made to their first kids, they will protect and be good parents. Sure, having three kids is a lot, but they’ll manage it and make it work
