Police station 3:30 AM

"Whenever you are ready Miss Jung," the officer puts down a recorder in front of them. Y/N gulps down before gathering some courage to speak. Her exhausted body is lavishly sitting on the soft plushy armchair, besides her is sitting her boss with a steady face. His expression remains stoic, his dark eyes narrow down and his lips press into a thin line as he keeps his stare at her. Her tired droopy eyes are screaming at het to go home and lay down in her comfy bed. Today was a long day.

She sighs and takes a sip from the glass that was given by the officer herself. She starts steadily, "I umm well, I went to the club with my friend and then something personal came up resulting in her going away, keeping me there alone, not that she didn't take my permission and I assured her that I'll be fine on my own."

She pauses a bit before starting again, "I was enjoying myself drinking and suddenly a waiter came up giving me a drink, he said it was on the house by one of the VIP guests. He told me the name, Choi Syunbae. I was surprised to hear the name because he is one of the big investors and dealers of our project. I met him two or three times for work purposes, and he always gave me a feeling of home, but it was strange of him to offer me a drink, in a club, I didn't feel much comfortable. So I declined it."

Y/N took a deep breath, "After a while, I decided to go to the bathroom. At that time, I was a little bit tipsy. When I finished, I was walking back through the hallway, and that's when I saw him."

She pauses, her eyes unfocused as she relives the events. Jungkook's jaw clenches, the muscles in his neck are tensed visibly, his jaw gets hardened in anger. Officer Kwon gives her a gentle nod, encouraging her to continue at her own pace.

"Mr Choi was there, and he confronted me to go with him, as in a way, for official work I was supposed to meet him, but the date has already been fixed, so I told him I'll see him on Tuesday, but.... he then tried to take me to one of the rooms forcefully. He grabbed my arm, and I tried to pull away. I could see he was drunk, his breath was reeked with alcohol, he couldn't even stand properly but his grip was firm and he wouldn't let go. I slapped him, pushed him away, and managed to run. I ran into the bathroom and locked myself in. He kept banging on the door, trying to break it down."

Y/N's voice falters, and she looks down at her hands, her knuckles are turning white from gripping the edge of the table. Jungkook's gaze softened for a fleeting moment, his heart is telling him to hold her hands and gives her comfort, soothing her. But he is beyond furious. God knows what he will do to that guy, for sure death is crawling towards Choi, he is maybe a big dealer for his company but Jungkook can buy these two or three companies with just a snap of his fingers. Obviously Kwon will give him access to deal with that rascal before handling him officially. He has known Kwon for decades.

"I've dealt with drunken bastards before," she begins, "It's nothing new for me, they never got the chance to have any wrong attempt towards me. But this...this was unexpected, I didn't know why I couldn't even try my hard and soul to do self defense, I mean, I succeeded in hiding myself, but I was too scared, it never happened to me before."

Taking a deep breath she steadies herself, afraid a lone tear in anytime will have a grant entry on her face.

"I never thought he could stoop so low. Never in my life did I imagine him doing something like this. I always saw him as a father-like figure. I- he I don't know-", her voice wavers terribly.

"It's okay Miss Jung, take your time. I know it's hard for you to recall the incident. And it's okay to be afraid because unexpected turns happen and they make us numb sometimes."

She blinks a few times before trying to give a small assurance smile to the officer.

"When he tried to break the door, calling me names that I can't even utter, I tried to call my brother and my friends but their phones were out of reach. I even called the club securities, hoping they would come to my aid. But they didn't. They just assured me that they were 'seeing the matter' and I don't know whether they've even finished seeing the matter till now." She scoffs at the last line.
