Months had passed since Jisoo had left Taehyung. She had returned to her mother's mansion, finding solace in the familiar surroundings and the loving support of her family. Despite the pain of her separation, she was determined to move forward and build a new life.

One morning, Jisoo awoke feeling dizzy and nauseous. At first, she tried to brush it off as stress or perhaps a mild stomach bug, but when the symptoms persisted, she decided it was time to see her personal gynecologist.

Dr. Lee greeted her with a warm smile. "Jisoo, it's good to see you. What seems to be the problem?"

Jisoo explained her symptoms, her voice tinged with concern. Dr. Lee listened attentively and performed a thorough examination. After a series of tests, Dr. Lee's face took on a look of surprise.

"Jisoo, I need to run a few more tests, but based on what I'm seeing, it appears that you might be pregnant," Dr. Lee said cautiously.

Jisoo's eyes widened in disbelief. "Pregnant? But how? I thought it was impossible!"

Dr. Lee nodded understandingly. "It's rare, but sometimes the body surprises us. Let's do an ultrasound to confirm."

As the ultrasound machine hummed to life, Jisoo held her breath. When the image of a tiny heartbeat appeared on the screen, tears of joy filled her eyes.

"It's a miracle," Jisoo whispered, overwhelmed with emotion. "Thank you, Dr. Lee."

"You're welcome, Jisoo. Take good care of yourself and come back for regular check-ups," Dr. Lee advised, her smile genuine.

Meanwhile, across town, Taehyung had married Nicole, his girlfriend, with whom he had been unfaithful to Jisoo during their marriage. The honeymoon phase was short-lived. Taehyung soon discovered that Nicole had no interest in starting a family.

One evening, Taehyung confronted Nicole in their lavish living room. "Nicole, we need to talk about having children," he said, his tone serious.

Nicole sighed, rolling her eyes. "Taehyung, we've been over this. I don't want kids. They don't fit into my lifestyle."

Taehyung's frustration boiled over. "You knew how important having a family was to me. Why didn't you tell me this before we got married?"

Nicole shrugged nonchalantly. "I didn't think it would matter. Besides, your company keeps you busy enough. Why would you want the added responsibility of children?"

Taehyung felt a pang of regret as he looked at Nicole. "Because it's about more than just responsibility. It's about legacy, about having someone to share our lives with."

Nicole's expression turned cold. "Well, if that's what you want, you married the wrong person."

Feeling trapped and more isolated than ever, Taehyung began to reflect on his choices. He couldn't deny the growing sense of emptiness and dissatisfaction in his life.

Back at her mother's mansion, Jisoo couldn't contain her excitement about her unexpected pregnancy. She confided in her mother, who was overjoyed at the news.

"Jisoo, this is wonderful! A true blessing," her mother exclaimed, hugging her tightly.

Jisoo smiled, feeling a sense of peace she hadn't felt in a long time. "I know, Mom. I'm just worried about how Taehyung will react."

Her mother looked thoughtful. "Jisoo, you need to tell him. He deserves to know, even if he's moved on."

A few days later, Jisoo gathered her courage and called Taehyung. They agreed to meet at a quiet café to talk.
