"Dunk, stop here... please, bro... you're already so drunk. Just stop for God's sake."
Lengso's pleading fell on deaf ears as Dunk let out a bitter laugh. Today, he didn't care. He didn't want tomorrow to arrive. But he knew that, come morning, he'd greet everyone with that same fake smile. They'd all say, "Dunk, your smile is so beautiful," but none of them knew the truth.
"Wow, your life is so perfect, Dunk... just drink, buddy, enjoy... dance." Lengso sighed at Dunk's slurred words. Dunk was his best friend, and seeing him like this broke his heart. After securing Dunk in the back seat, Earth turned to Lengso. "Leng, get in the car. I'll drop you home."
"No need, P. I have my bike. Just get Dunk home safely. Take care of him," Lengso replied, concern etched on his face.
Earth nodded, appreciating Lengso's understanding, and got into the car. As he drove through the quiet streets, he glanced at Dunk, passed out in the back seat. A memory flashed in his mind of a time when Dunk was the happiest person he knew, before life had dealt them such harsh blows....
