CHAPTER 3

Jimin's pov

It's Sunday but I have a maths assignment to do so here I am stuck inside my room studying at weekend also.

Mr min is cold but I must say he is much better then our previous professor I can finally understand maths and I am improving. He is kind too he give me ride home yesterday. I saw him helping another student also when she couldn't understand he is not bad just is little bit cold.

I was doing my work when I spot a cat outside I stopped my work and went outside to play with her. I love spending time with animals.

"Hey kitty" I crouched down and patted her head "are you hungry let's go and eat something."

I picked her in my arms and went to the nearest convenient store. I buyed tuna and sat in a park nearby I needed her the tuna. "Do you like eat more... good girl." I stroked her fur and she purred in satisfaction.

I was playing with the cat when I saw a man dropped his wallet. I gently put the cat down and picked the wallet. I called for that man.

"Excuse me" that man turned around I think he is in his early thirties. " You dropped you wallet."

He comes near me and took the wallet "Thank you so much kiddo" he smiled While patting my head I felt warm.

"You are welcome mr.." I hesitated as I didn't knew who he was.

"Seokjin I am kim Seokjin and please call me hyung kiddo mister feels old." He chuckled forwarding his hand.

"Nice to meet you hyung I am park jimin." I happily shook my hand with him.

"So jimin as you helped me I want to give you a treat let's go to that convenient store." He said pointing to the shop I went to before.

"It's OK hyung you don't need to"

" I insist " hyung Said dragging me to the store. We had a snack and come outside.

"Oh shit" I exclaimed

"What happened" Hyung asked me worriedly.

"Ah nothing Hyung It's just I come here with a stray cat to feed her and I left her alone in that park."

"Oh then let's go to the park." He said walking ahead.

"I guess she went away" I said sadly.

"You really cared about her" Hyung Said smiling.

I nodded "Hmm I love cats I want to adopt a cat but my parents don't allowed it."

"It's OK then I must go now meet you next time kiddo." Hyung Said ruffling my hair.

I bidded my farewell and went home When I entered the living room I saw dad sitting there I ran towards him "daaad"

"Aigo my chim slow down." Dad said catching me.

"Dad you come home you know I missed you who work on Sunday." I said pouting.

"I went to meet someone." He said and gestured me to sit properly just then mom also came and sit beside Dad.

"Chim I want to talk to you about something." He said seriously and I nodded

"Jimin you remember mr min."

"Yeah he is your business partner." I said casually.

"So he met me today, he want to marry his son with you."

WHAT I shouted shockingly standing up.

"Dad what are saying I am just 22 and you want me to get married I didn't even finished my studies yet." I said trying to make Dad understand.

"You can continue with your studies after marriage also." Mom said rolling her eyes.

I was on the verge of crying "I will not marry that man" I shouted While running towards my room I could hear my dad calling my name but I ignored it and shut my room's door.

I was crying hugging my pillow i don't know how much time has passed. my room's door was opened. And mom entered inside she looked angry

"What was that huh" She shouted at me I guess dad is not at home she only behave like this when he is not around.

"MO-- Mrs park what happened?" I asked sitting on the edge of bed.

"What was the little stunt you pulled few hours ago" she again shouted

"I... I.. don't-- " I can't form words clearly. My voice is hoarse after hours of crying.

"Bitch listen I don't want to hear anything just say yes for the marraige

You have to marry him your father's business will get a huge boost after this marraige so for your father's sake say yes.

I will ask you again at the dinning table and you have to say yes infront of your father. Do you get me." She pushed me and went outside shutting the door with a loud thud.

Time skip

We were silently having our dinner when mom asked me softly "jimin son have you thought about the proposal ?"

I gulped down the food and took a deep breath calm cool relax I chanted these words in mind and smiled

"Yes I have given a thought to it I thinked about this whole day and I have made a decision."

I forced a smile and hoped dad didn't noticed it "I am ready for it I will marry him."

"Really chim ah I am so happy trust me he will take good care of you. " Dad hugged me and shouted excitedly.

If this marraige give this much happiness to my dad then I am ready for it anything for his smile.

After dinner I went to rooftop and stare at the stars I always do this whenever I am sad I feel closer to my mom under the stars.

After an hour and so I went to my room.

March 24

Hi mama I am missing you so much.

You know what happened today I said yes to marry a stranger a person whom I never met whom I never saw. I don't even know his name.

Mama why you leaved me. I know if you were here you would never let that happened to me. I am not blaming you never I love you so much .

It's just I am missing you so much today. I watched you favorite movie today I just thought what it would be like to watch that movie with you just like the old time .

I miss our movie dates with you on the couch and me on your lap cuddling and watching the movie.

I must stop here it's getting late I need to sleep.

Bye mamma I will talk to you later good night.

I closed my diary with tears streaming down my cheeks and went to sleep.
