Max gave a small smile as he looked to the sleeping trio of girls. Gwen was in her breast form, purring softly as Jen and Star were pushed up into her belly like Gwen was a large pillow, it was such a cute, if strange image. Passing his reflection in some glass he pondered for a moment himself as a girl, completing the group, then in a flash had a brainstorm. Though it could wait, as he gently shook the trio to wake them.

"Alright girls its time to get up."

Groggily the trio rose, "Is it time for breakfast already Grandpa Max?"

"Yes Jen, and your lesson of the day."

She grumbled as she stirred, Gwen stretching like the big cat she was before she started to clean herself, while star use floated to her feet.

"You two Gwen, don't get too comfortable as a cat now."

Gwen paused, cheeks glowing as she registered what she was doing and while still mid posture shifted back to human form, "R-Right...sorry Grandpa...If I don't think about it I just sorta go on auto pilot."

Buth Jen and Max shared a look of concern, Gwen waved them off, "Don't look so worried I'm not loosing myself, I just act like a cat while I am a cat. I'm not going to start doing it as a human! I know the difference! See look im not even rolling my Rs because I'm not all tense and need my cat powers prrrrimed."

"You just did it there," Max notes.

Gwen purrs playfully, "I'm messing with you Grandpa, see. Grandpa! Grandpa! G*rowl*nprrrrra."

Gwen covering her mouth embarrassed on the last bit.

"Yeah well don't, you said yourself the price was your humanity we need to be able to keep track if you loosing any more and what rate."

Gwen mewls softly and nods, still covering her mouth embarrassed but Max let's it go.

"Now I don't mind you and Jen going beast to scratch the itch doesn't it doesn't get too back but I think it's a good idea you add humanity reinforcement therapy to your daily routine."

Gwen just mewls back as she continues to look embarrassed.

"That said," Max address the group, "While I get breakfast ready," he leads them out of the Rust Bucket to a dimly lit bunker or military base they had parked in, "This is another plumber base. It's been nearly a week and all our clothes need a good wash. No laundry this time, I'm going to show you to the washroom and your all going to learn how to do it manually. Then I'll fire up the showers and you can all get washed up."

"T-Together?" Jen says nervously, "With them?"

Gwen growls, "What's wrong with us now?"

Jen flusters, "Nothing...i mean it's just...I'm a boy."

Max places a comforting hand on her shoulder, voice soft and reassuring, "While that's certainly the goal it may take some time, meaning you need to be comfortable with common house bathing with other girls in case your not changed back before summer is over and you're back at school, Jennifer."

Jen sighed and nodded as Max lead them all deeper in, "I hope this is fixed soon. I want to play games not house."

Gwen teases her, "Oh come on Jennifer, I'm sure you'll make someone a great wife some day! Besides I'd kill to see you in a wedding dress, and with that strong sense of justice I'm sure your sons will make great heroes."

"Stop teasing your cousin Gwen, you don't even want those things and you were born a girl, don't play to stereotypes, even in jest. That only leads to toxic mentalities later. Saw to many of those during my Plumber days to see you start down that path."

"You do not talk about the Plumbers Grandpa the Max, what were they like," Star cuts in as Max motions to a trio of baskets already full of the trios other clothes.

"Yeah Grandpa what were your cool alien hunter friends like? Can I join, I am a big alien bashing hero!"

"You mean before they downsized, back in our prime?" Max muses as the trio follow after. "Oh it was a grand organization. We even had a few bases on the near planets, the moon, and in orbit. Most of that abandoned now. Just wasn't a need. Aliens just sorta stopped showing regular interest in Earth, so we don't need as many people to police it now. Most of the active staff now are managing a few key bases and the space stations while us retire get to retain access in case of a temporary surge."

The trio's eyes glimmered with excitement as Max lead them to a room with a large wash basin and a center table. Taking out one of his own shorts he filled a tough with water and started to hand wash his clothes. The trio begrudgingly following his instruction.

"You can let them soak there a minute, now let me show you to the washroom while I go and look for something."

The trio nods and follow, "What you looking for Grandpa Max?"

"Couple things, Vilgax isn't going to stay down so need to find some tools with a bit more punch but," he pauses looking to Jen, "I might have a fix for you. Wile we don't have anything like the Omnitrix there were times a Plumber would have to appear as someone else or temporary be changed into an alien or different gender. If I can find any of that tech still here I might at least be able to make you look like Ben or if I'm lucky turn you back to a boy, if only short term. It's a solution in any case." He then glances to Gwen, "There might also be something at one of these bases that can sever your connection to that god," and finally to Starfire, "And maybe something that can at least pin point your universe and open a line of communication if not a bridge."

The trio all cheering excited.
