Darling // Draco Malfoy x Potter Twin

-You're a Witch-

Uncle Vernon had indeed gone mad. We're currently living in an old stone building in the middle of the sea. Surely not letting us find out about Hogwarts isn't worth all this.

Harry and I are on the floor, I finishing adding candles to our sand cake. While Harry keeps an eye on Dudley's watch. It beeps at  midnight and he whispers, "Happy Birthday Jade, make a wish."

"Happy Birthday Harry." I reply. "You have to make a wish too!"

"Okay on three. One, two, three-" We both blow the sand as the door crashes open.

"What did you wish for?" I whisper as he goes to hide around the corner. A giant man walks through the door and Dudley screams in my ear.

"Sorry about that." He says casually, lifting the door back up.

"I demand that you leave at once. You are breaking and entering." Vernon yells point a gun at him. The man walks over to him "Dry up, Dursley, you great prune." he states bending the gun upwards.

I smile slightly, but then he comes over to me and Dudley. "Hello Twins. I haven't seen you two since you were babies. You're a bit more along than I expected, Harry. Particularly in the middle." 

I giggle at his insult. "Im not Harry." Dudley stutters.  

"Yeah, he is." I point over to Harry in the corner. "But I am Jade though."

"Well of course you are, I've got something for the two of you. Afraid I sat on it, but imagine it'll taste fine just the same." He holds out a box, and I nod to Harry, who takes it. "Baked it myself, words and all."

Harry opens the box to a pink cake with green icing saying Happee Birthdae Harry and Jade.

"Thank you." We say at the same time.

"It's not every day your young man and fine lady turn eleven, is it? Hey?" He smiles, sitting on the sofa. We all watch as he points his umbrella at the empty fire pit, and its shoots out flames.

"Yo-you're from Hogwarts, aren't you?" I ask.

"Yes, Jade. I am Rubeus Hagrid, Keeper of Key and Grounds at Hogwarts. Of course you know all about Hogwarts"

"Hogwarts?" Harry looks confused.

"Not really, just the name. Only because of the letter."

"You got a letter too?" Harry asks and I nod.

"What? Didn't you ever wonder where you mum and dad learned it all?"

"Learnt what?" Harry asks

"You're a wizard, Harry. And you're a witch, Jade."

"Im a what?" Harry looks shocked

"Really?" I smile.

"Yup. A good one I'd wager, once you've been trained up."

"No, you've made a mistake. I mean.. i can't be a wizard. I mean, im just Harry. Just Harry."

"Well, Just Harry, did you ever make anything happen? Anything you couldn't explain, when you were angry or scared?"

I gasp, "At the zoo. Harry."

Hagrid nods, pulling out a letter and handing it to Harry. "I gather you already have yours Jade."

"Yes."  I nod as Harry reads his out.

"They will not be going! We swore we'd put a stop to all this rubbish." Uncle Vernon comes over.

"You knew?" Harry asks.

"You knew all along and never told us?" I scowl.

"Of course we knew. How could you not be? My perfect sister being who she was. My mother and father were so proud the days she got her letter. We have a witch in the family. Isn't it wonderful? I was the only one to see her for what she was. A freak!" Aunt Petunia spits. "Then she met that Potter and had you two and I knew you'd be the same. Just as strange, just as abnormal.  And then she went and got herself blown up, and we got landed with the both of you."
