Life was utterly peaceful for Seraphina, even if she had befriended Jeremy who seemed to always be wrapped up into a thing or two.

The woman knew everything about the supernatural world, how could she not when she can feel it the air? Being two kinds of witches was never easy, it was almost impossible to control her magic at the small age of 8. It took her about 9 years before she had learned to not kill people with a mere look or cause them to randomly caught on fire. At the age of 17, her parents had died, leaving her all alone with everything in her name. She had moved into the woods, finding more peace within nature and has been living there since the age of 17. She felt more closer to her parents as well because of it as they both loved nature, one being a nature witch before they had died. And Seraphina believed fully that they were now at peace, at one with nature and it had made her heartache dim just a little with each passing day.

It was then when she realized that she wasn't alone. She still had them, she had all of her family with her and sometimes could feel them whispering how proud of her they were. Sometimes she would randomly feel an overwhelming amount of love swallowing her whole out of the blue or would feel as if a warm blanket was wrapped around her body when she  felt sad or stressed.

It never failed to lift her mood, knowing that they were there with her with every step of the way.

She was born deaf yet it was as if she had eyes in the back or her head cause though she couldn't hear you, she know if you said something and exactly what you've said. She was also utterly perfect at reading lips, no matter how far you are from her and obviously that wasn't normal. She could be facing away from you, you could whisper something and she'd be able to tell you exactly what you had said.

Her parents told her that she was truly blessed by their ancestors, that she was highly favored for recieving such a gift. And it was actually true, their ancestors loved the girl the moment she was born as she was a pure soul the second she'd entered the world. Knowing what they stood for even before she had gotten her magic or known what she was.

Labelle and Ames witches were truly special. Powerful and unlike others of their kind, didn't discriminate. The two powerful families welcomed all. It was how they were so well loved. Seraphina always got gifts, either it was herbs for cooking, herbs for something else, food, money or anything really. It took her a long while to realize that all of them had come from people that were associated with someone from her family.

It confused her on why she never felt weirded out or scared because how did they know where she lived? How in the hell did they know who she was? But she had figured out that it was for the same reason that she felt more thankful than scared of them. And would even whisper blessings for all of the people who would leave or send her things.

And she had gotten her answer in a book that was left to her by her parents.

According to the book, any supernatural creature or even human that has been welcomed by the Labelle and Ames family would be able to sense them from miles away.

It was a loyalty thing, it was also proof that they could be fully trusted if that infact does happen. The witch wouldn't feel frightful whenever a welcomed supernatural is near or has been near because they know that they will not be harmed.

Infact, everyone who had met the Ames and Labelle's had loved them, instantly becoming a apart of them as they would never judge you.

The combined family never had any enemies, well unless you counted the Bennett family.
