"Hello," Serephina says softly to the male while also signing the word as well. And it told Elijah that he was correct, she was deaf yet he truly didn't mind. Plus he's a bit too caught on the sound of her voice at the moment to really thing of much.

It sounded like what he imagined peace to sound like. It was calming, wrapping around his like a warm blanket. Was he ever so entranced by a voice before? No. Never. It was addicting and he wanted- no, needed to hear her speak more. Her voice made him feel more relaxed that he ever has in all his years on this earth. It was odd that a voice could do that for him honestly, yet he didn't mind much. Not when it was the voice of the beauty before him.

Suddenly the male stiffens as the most appealing scent tickled his nose, making him take a deep breath in. Seconds later his hazel brown eyes focused back on the woman before him. It was her scent. He furrows his brows in confusion, never had all of his years on earth had a person had that sort of scent clinging to them. Even if the person used the body wash, soap and the lotion of a specific scent, it didn't cling to them that way. No, it would be faint and he'd have to be right near them in order to smell it.

But with her, it was as if this was just all her. Her blood, her hair, just her. It was addictive. So far, everything about her is.

She smelled like cherries, coconut, kiwi with a hint of lilac and peppermint. It's an odd combo but it works perfectly so.

He watches as she tilts her head, brows furrowed and he nearly smacks himself for being stupid. He was too caught up in his damn thoughts, forgetting the greet the stunning woman back.

"I'm so sorry about that, hello." He says softly, mouthing the words carefully and signs to the woman whose eyes lit up at the fact that he knew sign language. Not many did and that was fine, she just got a bit excited anytime she across anyone that knew it or someone that wanted to learn.

Elijah couldn't help but smile at the way her eyes lit up, ignoring the way it made his heart flutter in his chest. And damn, her eyes were divine. They were a jade green colour and looked a bit brighter when she was in the sun.

Where has this goddess been hiding? He has been in Mystic Falls for a few days now and this was his first time catching sight of such a beauty. How? Did he not pay that much attention? Was he just too caught up in his thoughts or could it be something else?

It had to be something else. Even if he had not seen, her mouthwatering scent would have atleast lingered.

"You know sign language?" She asks him softly. She's asking because some people only know the basics, she doesn't want to just assume that he knew it all. There is nothing wrong with only knowing the basics but just assuming stuff instead of just asking kind of is. Well to her, that is. "I do," he says while signing to her and she grins at him before she squeaked as her truck shook slightly.

She looks back as Elijah stepped closer in worry and Seraphina's met Arran's sheepish gaze, pies in his hands. She lets out a small snort and shakes her head at the male.

"Thank you," he says, mouthing out the words to Seraphina who nods her head at him. "You're welcome." She says and then Arran went into his store, leaving only Seraphina and Elijah. The woman turns back towards the male and gives him a smile which he returned while his shoulder's slumped down.

He kept his eyes guled onto her, scared he's miss something, anything. "Would you like some help down?" He signs to the woman before moves closer to the spot she stood on the bed of her truck, holding his hand out towards her.

What a gentlemen, she thinks to herself as she nods her head, placing her hand into his. Instantly a feeling of warmth had consumed the two once they had touched. It only made Seraphina even more sure about what he was to her. She can also tell that he's a vampire and an original at that. He was strong and very old too but that didn't bother her. As the male helped her down from her truck, his mind swirled with questions that he didn't have the answers too.

Once Seraphina was at the egde, Elijah takes his hand from her own and both of his hands hovered over her waist as he looked up at her. "May I?" He mouths to the woman who just nods her head, eyes unable to leave his own.

Elijah rested his hands on her waist, his grip firm but not tight and the witch can already feel herself melting.

The male easily lifts her from her truck as her hands rested on his shoulders and he gently and carefully places her down onto the ground.

He was a few inches taller than she was, while he was 5'11, she was 5'6½. And do not ever forget the half, it's important to her afterall. Her eyes seemed to be more prettier up close if that was possible. The male slowly removed his hands from her waist, wanting to be respectful even if he adored the way touching her made him feel at home. She had soon followed behind him, removing her hands off his shoulders yet their eyes never strayed from each other's.

"I'm Seraphina." She tells him softly, she hated having to sign her name so she'd just say it instead. Elijah tilts his head a bit, a smile twitching at his lips while he repeated her name in his head. "That's a beautful name," he mouths, signing the words as he did which made her grin up at him. "Thank you," she signs and says. She thinks her name is beautiful as well and was glad to be given the name. She found herself lucky honestly.

To have a name that she adores, a name she'd never change.

"I'm E-L-I-J-A-H," he signs and tells the shorter woman who hums. "Elijah?" She repeats to make sure that she got it right and the male broke out into a grin. Why did he? He has no idea but fuck, did he love the way his name rolled off of her tongue. "Yeah," he mouths and chuckles softly when he see's the proud look upon her face.

How adorable, he thinks.
