Cause and Effect - (DabiDeku)

Time Jump Three months later

The summer had been great for most of the students of U.A. preparatory school. Now it was over and time to return to the dorms and school.

Tenya Iida, and Momo Yaoyorozu being the previous years class president, and vice president were the first to arrive. It was the Friday before classes were to begin and the students had the weekend to move back into the dorms and get themselves ready for the start of the new school year. As the previous years class representatives it was Momo and Tenyas responsibility to check students in and give them their room number, and key. Of course this year was going to be a bit different.

The two students stood with their belongings waiting for their home room teacher to arrive and let them into the heights alliance dorm building. The two had noticed that the building looked bigger and as if it had had work done while they were away for the summer break. The two chatted quietly as they waited for their teacher. They didn't have to wait long as a tall man with long shaggy black hair and bags under his eye approached them. The man held a stack of papers, two clipboards, and a large manilla envelope in his hands. "If you two are done gossiping, I have other things to do today." Aizawa said, startling the two students. They had been so engrossed in their conversation they hadn't noticed him approaching. "Profesor Aizawa, Sir. My apologies, we did not see you." Teny said with a slight bow. "Whatever, let's just get this over with." Aizawa said. He walked right past them, up the steps of the porch and to the two giant front doors of the dorm building. Momo and Tenya each grabbed a box from their pile of belongings and followed behind him.

"As you probably already noticed, the building has had some work done." their teacher drowned. "Yes Sir. That was what we were discussing when you arrived." Momo replied. "Here is one of the first new additions." the dark haired man said. With a little difficulty he pulled a small card from his pocket and taped it to a small pad at the center of the glass double doors in front of him. A bell-like beeping sound could be heard, and then a click. Aizawa then pushed the door open with his foot. "The whole building has been fitted with a key card entry system. The front door, room doors, and bathroom doors all have these keypads." the teacher explained. He moved inside and continued to hold the door for the two to enter. "Put your things down there and hurry up and get the rest inside. Then I'll give you a short tour and explanation of all the upgrades." Aizawa said. "Yes Sir." Both students replied. It only took them ten minutes to move all their belongings inside the building; witch Aizawa was grateful for.

The black haired man then handed the papers in his hands to Tenya, and the clipboards and envelope to Momo. "Each student is to be given one of those packets. They contain a copy of the rules and regulations for the dorms and a few other bits of information about the new system." Aizawa said pointing to the stack of papers Teny new held. "You two are to check off each student as they arrive, show them to their room and give them their key card. The key cards each have the students name printed on them. Yaoyorozu, go ahead and pull out your own and Iida's now." Aizawa told them. Momo nodded her head and opened the envelope looking through the cards until she had found the two she wanted. "Let's start in the kitchen. Tenya you can leave those on the counter for now." Aizawa told him, pointing to the papers. The three of them entered the kitchen. "As you can see the only thing that was changed here were the appliances. Brand new stove, refrigerators, and whatnot." the tired man said with a sigh. He then led them into the common room. "There are a few new bean bag chairs but that is all that changed here." again he said. He was tired and really just wanted to go home and go back to sleep. The two looked around and nodded before following their homeroom teacher down the hall. "The laundry room, supply room, and cleaning closet are all the same. The bathrooms were inspected and thoroughly cleaned but no work was done there. The only thing that changed is the doors. They have a key card entry. This will help with the Mineta problem." Aizawa explained. "Oh thank goodness. That boy is a menace." Momo stated. She was extremely happy about this particular upgrade.

"Let's head upstairs," the raven haired man said, as he headed toward the elevator. The two students kept looking around as they followed behind him. Aizawa had already hit the button and the doors opened. The three of them stepped inside. "There are no buttons?" Momo exclaimed. "That is correct, Momo, please place your key card there." Aizawa said, pointing out a small square on the wall of the elevator. The black haired girl did as requested. Suddenly a white number pad lit up next to the square. "The elevator and the stairwell doors have to have a key card to access them." the teacher explained. Mom reached out and pressed her finger to the number two, assuming they were going to that floor.

When the door to the elevator opened they all got out. "Momo you are in the same room as last year." Aizawa said. The girl led them to the first door on the left side. Her name was on a small plaque next to the door. She looked at her teacher, who just gave her a look of what are you waiting for. The raven haired girl placed the card on the small square on the door. The same bell-like sound was heard and the door popped open. She pushed it open more and they all entered. The room was the same as it was before. A queen size bed sat in the far right hand corner, with a tree draw side table, and chest at the end. In the corner on the left side were two bookshelves, a little ways down along the wall was a desk, with a chair in front of it. Just past that was a door to a small walk-in closet with a built-in dresser and a bar for hanging above it. On the right was another door that led to a basic bathroom, it had a toilet, and sink with a cupboard below and a mirror above. They exited out of the room, Momo pulling the door shut behind them, the automatic lock clicking into place.

"Sir, when we were in the elevator I noticed the number pad had five numbers. I thought the dorms only had four floors?" Tenya asked. "You are correct Iida. A fifth floor was added on to the heights alliance building. I will explain all about that, but first I think You and Yaoyorozu should get your belongings to your rooms. I'll wait for you in the kitchen" the older man said. He then left the two to their task. Half an hour later Tenya and Mom entered the kitchen to find their teacher seated at the counter drinking a cup of coffee. Two plates with eggs, sausage and toast on the counter beside, along with two glasses of orange juice. "Sit, eat, and then I'll explain about the new students and the fifth floor." he told them. The two did as they were told.
