Cause and Effect - (DabiDeku)

Mom headed back down to the main floor of the dorm building in the elevator. She sent a quick text to their home room teacher and dorm monitor Shoya Aizawa that all the students were checked in. The elevator stopped on the second floor picking up Toru Hagakure. "Hey, Momo where are you coming from? Isn't your room on this floor?" the chartreuse hair girl asked. "Oh, I was just checking in the last of the class, up on the fifth floor." the raven haired girl replied. "Oh yeah who was it?" Toru asked excitedly. "It was Izuku and his two cousins." Momo replied. The elevator dinged and the door opened at the exact moment. The two girls walked out and went straight to the common area of the dorms.

All the teens who had been out on the porch for Izuku and the twins' arrival were now in the common room discussing what they had just witnessed. Toru left Momo's side and went straight to the groups to hear all the gossip on the new students. Momo went to the kitchen to make herself a cup of tea, where she found a boy with long jet black hair adorned with beads and feathers. "Good day Momo." Fumikage said without looking away from the cup in front of him. "Hello Fumikage." Momo replied. She went straight to the stove to start the water for tea. "Not interested in whatever they are gossiping about?" the boy said. "Not really. They are just discussing Izuku's new look and his two cousins." Momo told him. "Ah, I see. It must have been a dramatic change." Fumikage stated. "Oh it was. Lets just say he looks like he would be more your type of friend now then any one else's." the girl explained. "Hmm, interesting." was his only reply. After that the two sat in amicable silence enjoying their drinks.

Back in the main area of the common room the other eight students sat in a circle. They were discussing what they had just witnessed. Hanta wanted to talk about the car Izuku had driven up in but the only other person who was interested was Eijiro so they got out voted. The two would talk about it later. Instead they started with the new look of their friend and classmate "Did you see what Izuku was wearing?" Mina asked. "He looked so hot." Minoru said. Earning him a smack from Kyoka. "It's a dramatic change but he did look good." Eijiro stated. "That's my boyfriend, you're talking about shitty hair." Katsuki growled. "Don't you mean x-boyfriend." Kyoka put in. "Shut it ears. I will get him back." the blond stated matter of factly. "You mean we Kat." Shoto put in. The two had gotten very close over the summer and were now a thing, both intending to explain to Izuku as soon as they could and win his heart back. "Wait, Wait, what did I miss?" Toru asked as she joined the group. Mina quickly filled her bestie in on how Izuku was dressed and the car he came driving up in. The group spent a half hour discussing Izuku's change in wardrobe, before the next topic of conversation was brought up.

"Look I get that you girls are obsessed with clothes but, what about the piercings and tattoos. Or did none of you notice those?" Hanta asked. The other boys were thankful for the subject change. "Sorry man I didn't notice I was kinda preoccupied with his ass in those shorts." Minoru said with a shrug. This pissed both Shoto and Katsuki off. The two boys were now on their feet and being held back from beating the life out of the short purple haired male. It took a good ten minutes from the two to calm down enough to get back to the conversation.

"The tattoos and piercings aren't actually a surprise to me. I mean it was inevitable considering his brother works in, owns, and lives above a shop." Katsuki explains. "Yeah he told me once he wanted to get at least one." Shoto supplied. "I really like the stars on his side, I didn't really notice the others." Mina said. "There was a butterfly behind his ear. The girl had the exact same one too. But the body looked strange" Eijiro said. "It is a semicolon. Its a symbol for those with depression, mental health issues, and suicide." Kyoka explained. "How do you know that?" Toru asked. The purple haired girl took a deep breath before pulling up the sleeve of her shirt to reveal a similar tattoo, just not a butterfly. Mina and Toru gasped. "Look I'm not gonna talk about it so dont ask. Just know that I am okay, it was a long time ago." Kyoka explained. The others wanted to ask questions but knew better than to push, so they dropped it. This also made them worry about their green haired classmate. "There was another tattoo on his arm but I didn't get a close look at it." Hanta told them. "I'm sure he will show us if we ask him." Mina said. They didn't really discuss his piercings much as most of them had their own.

The next topic brought up was the twins. "So what did you think of Izuku's cousins?" Mina asked. "They're not his cousins." Katsuki huffed out. "What do you mean, not his cousins. I thought Momo said they were?" Eijiro asked, confused. "I've known him since we were in diapers. I would know if they were his cousins. They're just friends." Katsuki explained. "What were their names again?" Toru asked. "Jin and Himiko Toga." Kyoka told them. She remembered because of how many times her girlfriend had said it. "Oh yeah." Toru exclaimed. "That Jin guy looked like he worked out, maybe he would want to join us in training?" Eijiro said. "Yeah we could use another member." Hanta agreed. "That Himiko chick was hot." Minoru supplied. "Augh! Is that all you can say?" Mina, Toru, and Kyoka all cry at the same time. "I dare you to say that shit to her grape face. You're liable to get a knife shoved in you. I have only been around them a couple times. They both bat shit crazy." Katsuki said. Shoto just sighed, he was worried about his once best friend turned crush.

The group continued to talk about the new students and Izuku for the rest of the afternoon. Filling in other classmates as they came and went from the common room. They learned all they could from Katsuki about the twins and speculated about what had gone on with their green eye classmate over the summer.
