Denki was so excited to see Izuku he was practically bouncing in his boyfriend's arms. Hitoshi released his grip from around the blond boy's waist and Denki was off like a bolt of electricity. He didn't even use the stairs, he just jumped right off the porch. Hitoshi followed at a more normal pace taking the stairs like they were intended for. The hyper boy ran straight for the greenette, who had noticed and opened his arms. As soon as he was close enough Denki wrapped his arms around Izuku's waist lifting the shorter boy off his feet in a bone crushing hug, which Izuku returned. "I missed you so much Izz." Denki murmured. "I was only gone for a week, and we video chatted yesterday." Izuku giggled. "I know but it's not the same." the electric blond cried. "I'm sorry Pika, but I had to go see my parents before school started." the greenette said while running his fingers through the blonds hair. Hitoshi had made it over to them now. "Alright kitten, could you put Izz down so I can get a hug?" the purple haired boy said to his boyfriend. Both Izuku and Denki giggled before Izuku was placed back on his feet. Denki moved out of the way as Hitoshi pulled Izuku into an embrace. "I'm glad your back Izz." Hitoshi stated. "Thank Toshi. I'm glad to be back." came Izuku's reply. The three friends moved around the car and over to the twins who had been chatting while admiring the school grounds.
Up on the porch the others watched as Izuku interacted with the others, most wondering when they had gotten so close. As far as they knew Izuku had basically ghosted most of them. Some understood what while others didn't.
"Hey guys, welcome to U.A." Denki told them. "Hey Denki, Hitoshi. Thanks." Jin said. "Hey guys, I'm super excited to be here. This is gonna be so much fun." Hiiko said, hugging them both. The five of them chatted for a few more minutes before walking over to where Momo stood. Next to her were six expensive looking suitcases, and the two bearded men with trolleys filled with boxes. Momo smiled at them. "Izuku, I am so glad you decided to return for our final year. Also thank you for checking in with me over the summer, it put my heart at ease to know you were doing well." Momo said to the green eyed teen. "I wasn't going to, but when I ran into Toshi at the mall he told me how upset and worried you were. You are always nice Momo and I just felt you deserved to know. Also I knew you would let everyone else know too, so it was the best way." Izuku replied. Izuku had changed, he was more confident, and was no longer a pushover, but deep down he was still the kind, thoughtful, generous boy he always was. Now though those traits were saved for the people he cared about and the ones who deserved to see that side of him. Everyone else could fuck off as far as he was concerned. Momo turned her attention to the twins. "Hello my name is Momo Yaoyorozu, welcome to U.A. preparatory." the raven haired girl introduced, put her hand out for them to shake. Himiko shook her hand first followed by Jin. "Jin, and Himiko Toga." the boy said pointing first to himself then his sister. "I was told that you are Izukus cousins. It's lovely to meet you." Momo said. The twins looked over at Izuku, who just shrugged. The black haired female checked their names off on her clipboard, then handed them the packet of papers and their keys. "These are the rules and regulations for the door building, and a few other pages with important information. Now if you follow me, I'll show you to your rooms." Momo said. The girl turned and began walking up the stairs. Izuku the twins, and Hitoshi and Denki all followed her. The two bearded men right behind, with their belongings.
The kids on the porch had stayed quiet for the most part wanting to hear what was said between their class vice president and the others. Momo walked past them, swiped her own key card and then held the door open. Izuku and the others didn't say anything to the group on the porch; they just walked by and inside the dorm building. Momo went to explain how the key cards work but Izuku stopped her, letting her know they already knew, because it had been his idea to have them installed. As a matter of fact all the upgrades had been Izuku's idea. Momo gave them a quick tour then they went straight to the elevator. Each of the twins went first, riding up with one of the men from the moving company. Izuku, Momo, Denki, and Hitoshi were the last to arrive. The men were already moving the boxes with the twins' names into their room, while the other was waiting to unload Izuku belongings. "I'll leave you to unpack. I'll see you all at dinner." Momo said before heading back down to the common area of the dorms.
"She seemed nice, but you never really tell until you know them better." Jin said. "Momo is one of the good ones. She was last year's class vice president. This year if I have my way she will be president. She is really nice, she is the class mom. Always checking up on us, and when I was sick one time last year she skipped lunch to bring me soup and check on me." Izuku explained to them. "Oh wow that was super thoughtful." Himiko said. "I really don't want to, but we need to get our stuff unpacked." Izuku said. "Let's all work together." Himiko suggested. "That sounds like fun." Denki chirped. "Let's start in the twins room, since they have more stuff." Izuku said. After that all five of them got to work unpacking.
