"I severely underestimated how boring it can get inside a huge forest on top of a mountain," Serafin huffs, catching his breath as he leans on a tree for support. "Well, at least I won't be alone for too long. I'm sure that someone will find me soon. Let's just hope it's not a teacher."
With a huff, Serafin straightens up and fetches a water bottle from his inside pocket, located on the left side of his trenchcoat. The young man takes a gulp before putting it back.
I better pass soon or else I'll get dehydrated. That's not going to be good," Serafin chuckles as he jogs in a straight line. "One day, I won't need to stay hydrated for my quirk to work. I'll be spewing out steam with just a drop of water."
This self talk goes on for a good minute, his eyes darting left to right and up and down, scanning his surroundings. Trees filled his views with occasional boulders here and there but nothing too out of the ordinary at the moment.
"Ouch!" Serafin howls, holding his right foot as it bumped onto something hard. "What was that?" The teen growls, glaring at the object beneath him. "Um, what is that?"
He utters, picking up the metallic object we hit. Upon closer inspection, it is just a metal cube. Serafin does not understand how it is so heavy for a five inch cube, but that would be a question for another time.
"Okay, that is enough scrunching my face for now. I will deal with my curiosity later," Serafin says, yawning as he carries the cube within his arms. "Gosh, this cube is really heavy. I wonder what material this is."
Serafin then brings it to his face, inspecting it while walking. Upon closer glance, it reminds him of tungsten but judging by its weight, it definitely is not that kind of metal.
"Too heavy to be tungsten," Serafin hums, holding the cube within his right hand, raising it up and down. "I wonder how durable this metal is. If this is durable, I may be able to find a way to make this lighter while maintaining its strengths. Hmm, a new material to consider for my equipment. I should talk with the teachers when I get accepted."
With his attention occupied, Serafin did not notice a root sticking out of the ground. His left foot lodged between it and the ground, causing him to trip and fall, face first onto the earth.
The young man, out of instinct, threw the metal cube to the side to avoid caving his chest in when he falls.
With a thud, he struck the ground but swiftly supported himself back up using his arms. Serafin chuckles at the scene, sighing to himself as he gets back up on his feet.
"Silly me, I should be more careful. I always get so engrossed in my thoughts that I start to tune out everything," Serafin utters, dusting his clothes and picking up the cube he threw to his right. "Glad that nobody saw that one," he laughs to himself, scratching the back of his head.
"I saw it," Serafin froze upon hearing a gentle voice behind him.
"Oh, well that's embarrassing, then!" Serafin laughs as he turns around.
There was no one behind him, causing him to double take, even squinting his eyes, his guard now raised.
"Oh, um, up here."
Serafin does look up, his eyes landing on a young man sitting on a branch, his face showing a shaky smile.
Light green messy, long and curly hair sits on top of his face. He dons a brown complexion and Serafin could not see other details other than that. He is wearing a gray jumpsuit and some kind of black boots.
"Well, um, can you turn a blind eye to it?" Serafin laughs, earning a small laugh from the other.
"Don't worry, I won't tell," the green-haired male assures Serafin, his arms snaking as much as possible around the trunk of the tree. "B-but can you also turn a blind eye to this?" He asks Serafin who tilts his head in confusion. "I, um, kinda got teleported up in this tree and, um, I can't get down right now because, um, it's too high for me to jump down."
