'Daisy?' I heard footsteps in front of me as I carefully opened the door, seeing daisy angrily packing bags in front of me. 'What, Watson. I've already said, it doesn't bother me I-'
'Our ride is here.'
'Oh, but stop asking about it.'
I smiled cheesily 'I wasn't going to,'On a lighter note, 'Who do you think will be the head girl?' Daisy scoffed 'Me, of course. Amina still doesn't have anything on me.'
I giggled,'Except for her lips...'
Daisy practically shrieked 'What?'She walked up to me and stared at me,'What are you yalking about?'
Her stare was honestly still intimidating.'I-I-' I was stumbling on my words 'I saw you and amina. I mean, I'm happy for you but, why didn't you tell me? I'm your best friend. I'm supposed to know, right?'
Daisy turned away from me and closed her bag with a furious zip.
'Oh, bother you, Watson. And I will be the head girl.'
Then Daisy turned around, shoved past me and trotted down the stairs. Sometimes I wonder if she's ever changed since our first case. I still think she's angry that uncle Felix has made her go back to school, but it will be good for her. I peer out of the window and see FallingFord's old trees and daisy standing angrily under one, getting drenched despite her best attempts. She still waits for me to go in the car with her. And so, I tumble hastily down the stairs and run out at her, whispering into her ear'It will be okay, you know. Everything will go back to normal.' Daisy mutters slowly at me while staring into my eyes,
'Thanks but ,that's the thing. I don't want it to go back to normal.'
