Beneath the veil of morning's grey,
Where dreams of night have fled away,
I stand alone, with heavy heart,
As daybreak tears my hopes apart.
The anger fades to quiet despair,
A silent anthem in the air,
With every effort to find my muse,
It's the fear of loss that I choose.
The colors of life, so dull and spent,
In shades of sorrow, my spirit's bent,
A quest for meaning, now feels in vain,
As I dance with shadows in the rain.
Through the viewfinder, scenes stay the same,
A world indifferent to my name,
No spark of joy to light the dark,
Just the echo of a question mark.
I walk the path of the least resistance,
Embracing failure with persistence,
A photographer's eye, now clouded by doubt,
Capturing moments of a life sold out.
May this lens find truth in the pain,
A portrait of loss, not taken in vain,
For in this gallery of sunken dreams,
A silent victory, or so it seems.
