I didn't even think I was being that distruptive, until Miss Ledbetter, the teacher who no one likes, said otherwise.

"Y/N, you're sitting back there for the rest of the week." She yelled. I was about to just do what she said because I wouldn't mind sitting alone until i realized what table she was pointing at. It was in the back of the cafeteria, and guess who was sitting at it. Ricky Potts! I've heard lots of things about him. I heard he watches furry porn, I heard he wets the bed, I heard he masturbates to his cats making love. Do i know if any of it is true? No. But I will assume the worse.

"You got to be kidding me miss! I wasn't even being loud! Please give me another chance!" I begged, the look of disgust on my face was clearly evident, i'd rather die than sit next to Ricky.

"I've given you hundreds of chances this whole school year, every day at lunch you are disruptive!" The teacher argued back. "Now sit where i told you too. Maybe he could teach you a thing or two about being quiet." She looked back at Ricky, who was still looking down at his book, not realizing what was happening.

"Miss, no, please!" I pleaded, hoping she would understand. But she didn't, she just looked at me. I thought of just staying in place and not moving, but i couldn't get another detention. So i stood up and walked slowly to the back of the cafeteria where Ricky was sitting. I felt peoples eyes on me as I walked to the back, but when i looked around, i saw no one looking at me. Maybe im just too anxious.

I reached the table and sat down across from him, trying to sit as far away as possible from him. I thought i could've just sat there the whole time without him acknowledging me, but unfortunately not. He looked up and stared at me, i thought he would've just took in my appearance and would look back down and continue reading, however he doesn't have any friends, so it's not surprising he would try and be my friend.

"Hi. I'm Ricky!" He signed.

I stared at him. What the hell did he just do? His fingers were moving so fast but somehow they were moving so gracefully.

"I'm sorry, what?" I asked. I felt akward for saying it, but i had no idea what he just asked me.

He signed it again, i still didn't know what the hell he was trying to tell me.

"I'm sorry, i don't understand" I cut myself off and mocked his sign language "that." i finished my sentence.

He closed his eyes and nodded before reaching into his purple backpack and pulling out a galaxy print notebook and flipping past drawings until he reached an empty page.

"Hi. I'm Ricky." He wrote. He had good handwriting. I stared at what he wrote before nodding.

"Sorry, i'm Y/N." I replied, feeling embarrassed about not understanding him before.

His eyes widened at me saying my name. "That's a pretty name." He wrote before scratching it out and writing, "Sorry if that was weird."

"It's fine." I replied before adding, "Thank you."

He nodded before putting away the notebook and continued reading his book.

My eyes widened. I know i had just went on about not wanting to sit next to him, but he was fun to talk to. I mean, i didn't talk to him that much but he seemed sweet. Also, there's seven minutes left of lunch so i'd rather talk to him than sit here picking at my nails. So i tapped on the table right next to him.

"What's that you're reading?" I asked, smiling.

He rolled his eyes before pulling out the same notebook and flipping to the same page before writing a bit impatiently, "The Six." he put down the pencil and returned to his book.
