I woke up at 10AM, normal for me on Saturdays.

Since I canceled me and Zekes date I have nothing to do today. I reached over and grabbed my phone and started scrolling through tiktok until I heard Sonny banging on my door.

"CMON YOU HAVE TO GET UP MOMMAS TAKING US TO THE ZOO!" He yelled from outside my door.

"HUH? WHY?!" I yelled back.

"SHE WANTS TO SPEND MORE TIME WITH US!" He answered.

"UGHHH" I groaned before reluctantly getting out of bed. I rubbed my eyes and walked over to my vanity and sitting down on the stool. I turned on my playlist and started getting ready.

I did my makeup and hair. Then I walked over to my closet to pick out an outfit. I put on a light blue tube top, white cardigan, jeans and white converse. I cracked my neck and sprayed my Japanese Cherry Blossom perfume before leaving my room.

"I'm ready momma!" I yelled.

"Sonny, you ready?!" She yelled back.

"Yes momma!" He answered.

Me and Sonny walked downstairs and out the door, just before I pulled open the car door Sonny yelled,

"SHOTGUN!"

I rolled my eyes.

"Ughhh.." I groaned.

He smirked before getting into the front seat. I rolled my eyes and got in the back. I started scrolling through instagram. My mom turned on her lame baddie music that me and Sonny both hated.

After 30 minutes we arrived at the zoo. I got out and Sonny and my mom followed after.

"I call shotgun on the way back." I smirked.

"What? That's not fair!" He protested.

"Yes it is." I argued back.

"Stop arguing. This is supposed to be fun." Our mom reprimanded us.

"Yes momma." We sighed.

We headed toward the entrance of the zoo and our mom bought us tickets.

"You guys gotta stay close." She said.

"What why?! I wanna look at the foxes!!" Sonny groaned.

"Then we will. Just I want us to be close." My momma responded and patted him on the head.

He rolled his eyes.

"Momma can I please look around by myself? I'm 17. I'm old enough." I pleaded.

"Fine." She answered. "Just don't get kidnapped and if you get lost call me."

"Yes ma'am!" I smiled before walking off. I heard Sonny yelling about how it wasn't fair but I just smirked to myself and I walked over to the reptile section of the zoo.

I walked past all the animals and plants. Even though the scenery was beautiful all the trash and the stench of animal.. waste... cancelled it out. I made my way to the reptile section and walked through the gate.

I looked at the snakes, turtles, iguanas, they even had crocodiles. It was pretty hot outside and I felt thirsty. I walked out the reptile section and found a sign with a map of the zoo on it. I was close to a concession stand so I started walking that way to buy some water.

I made my way to the concession stand when guess who I saw standing at the end of the line?
