"Finally!" Yujin said in excitement as they got out of the airport

"We get a month off, that's so cool. I get to spend a lot of time with Ningning" Giselle daid and chuckled

"By the way, where's Ryujin?" Winter asked since she noticed Ryujin wasn't with them anymore

"Oh, she asked one of our managers to drive her back home. She wanted to surprise Chaeryeong" Yeji said and chuckled. Knowing what Ryujin's plan was.

"Oh okay, well I also need to go home now. Bye" Winter said and waved goodbye to them.

The others then also went home on their own.

Ryujin on the other hand was so excited to finally see the younger after three days. Wanting to give her kisses to hug her and just to lay on bed all day with her.

Ryujin got down from the car and immediately went towards the door of their house. She opens the door, quietly, wanting to surprise Chaeryeong.

She places her bag on the corner and walks towards their room where she guessed her girlfriend could be. She slowly opens the door.

"Chaery~ I'm home-" she was cut off as soon as she opened the door wide enough for her to see the inside.

"Jagi?" Ryujin called, her eyebrows furrowing, wondering where the younger could be.

She goes inside and checks the bathroom but she wasn't there. She was so confused.

"Maybe she went out" Ryujin said and then goes back to the living room. She brings her bag to their room first and decided to cook something for her and Chaeryeong.

As soon as she got to the kitchen, she saw a piece of paper. Maybe Chaeryeong left her a sweet note, saying she went to buy something outside, Ryujin thought.

She grabs the piece of paper and slowly opens it.

~Chaery's Letter~

Ryuddaeng,

Hello jagi. The moment you read this letter, I'm probably not there anymore. I might be on a plane already.

The moment that I first saw you, you were in your practice room, talking with Yeji unnie and the others. Probably planning on what song to practice next. You took my attention because when I heard you sang, it made me feel better, I love your voice so much and it attracted me to you. I thought we wouldn't meet again but we did. The time I wanted to check out the practice room, you caught me and I was so shocked. Funny isn't it?

I was so shy at first but then we grew closer because of you wanting to court me and of course me loving how you treated me.

A lot of things happened ever since, I realized after a few months that my feeling for you started going deeper. I treated you not only as a close friend but something more. To me, you're someone very special.

I get so happy whenever you would ask me out, whenever you accepted my song requests even though I wasn't sure if you knew them but you still did and I thank you for that.

Thank you jagi for giving me the love and attention that I deserve, you were always by my side whenever I needed you and the way you take care of me. I appreciate it so much.

Thank you got loving me so much, you tolerate my actions and understand me whenever no one can. Thank you for being by my side especially that time when me and eomma argued.

I love everything about you Ryuddaeng, your scent, your hugs, your kisses, your affectionate words and actions and most especially your voice.

Now, I want to say sorry for breaking our promise. I'm sorry for leaving you but this is my decision and I think it's better for us. Let's break up Ryujin. I'm really sorry, I'm such a coward for just telling you through this letter.

We were supposed to have our future together, we've been together for years but I broke it. Don't worry about me, I'll take good care of myself and I hope you do the same.

I'll still support you and the other girls just like I said. I'll cheer for you from afar, being your number 1 fan. I'm so proud of what you've got especially this. It was always your dream, you always give your best in everything.

Please don't try to find me. I don't want you to waste your time on me. Don't worry, I'll be fine on my own and with mom and eomma.

I love you so much, my jagi, my ryuddaeng. I love you more and more each day. I'll try to be braver and stronger for us, I will fight for us if the time comes

"W-what?" Ryujin's voice trembled

"This has got to be a prank jagi, you can't..."

"Y-You can't just leave me here" Ryujin sobbed as she held the letter in her hand tightly.

"I... I wasn't e-even able to s-say goodbye" Ryujin sobbed and sat down on the floor of their kitchen. She felt her heart shattered, her world breaking apart.

"I didn't even g-get to h-hug you or k-kiss you for the l-last... time" Ryujin said and sobbed once more.

She had no idea why the younger left, why she had left her all alone.

She grabbed her phone and called Chaeryeong's number. She kept calling and calling but none. She messaged the younger, the messages couldn't be delivered. She felt so defeated.

She called her eomma....

"Yes sweetheart? do you need anything?"

"E-eomma"she's trying hold back her tears

"What happened Ryujin? Why do you sound like you cried?"

"S-She's gone eomma...."

"Where are you?"

"A-at our house... I.. I was pl-planinng to surprise her" Ryujin said and suddenly choke through her sobs as she looks at the engagement ring box that she placed on the coffee table.

"Just stay there sweetheart, I'm on my way"

The call ended and Ryujin puts her phone down. Feeling so helpless.

Soon later, Jeongyeon and Nayeon arrived, looking so worried at Ryujin.

"Sweetheart" Ryujin looked up and saw both of her parents. She then cries harder.

"Oh sweetheart" Nayeon said worriedly as she brings her daughter in her arms.

"She left... She left me" Ryujin sobbed and Nayeon loomed at Jeongyeon.

They definitely knew why Chaeryeong had left Ryujin.....
