"Influenza?! No, that can't be. Please tell me you're joking" Ryujin pleaded the nurse
"This is what it says on Miss Lee Chaeyoung's results miss" the nurse said and Winter furrowed her eyebrows
"Umm miss, her girlfriend's name is Lee CHAERYEONG, not Chaeyoung" Winter corrected
"Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry" The nurse said apologetically and Ryujin calms down, Giselle on the other hand was chuckling at the mistake of the nurse
"Lee Chaeryeong.... oh here. She just got the stomach bug" the nurse said and they were all in relief, at least it wasn't anything very serious
They thanked the nurse and Ryujin immediately turned to the younger
"I'm just right here jagi" Ryujin said softly as she held her hand and kissed that back of it.
"Do you need anything else Ryu?" Yeji asked
"Uhm, can you get me some clothes at our house? I might stay here with her until she recovers" Ryujin said
"Are you sure Ryujin? you know that the media are-" Giselle was then cut off
"I don't care if they see me here. Chaery needs me and I will not waste any more of my time. I want to be by her side especially now that she needs me, I don't want to make the same mistake again" Ryujin said and they nodded
"Here's the keys Yeji unnie" Ryujin said and handed the older the keys
"I'll be back right away Ryu, don't worry" Yeji said and Ryujin nodded
The girls left and it was only Ryujin and Chaeryeong left in the hospital room. Chaeryeong cleaned up some of the things, she placed Chaeryeong's phone on the nightstand, as well as hers. She brought Chaeryeong's bag to the couch and then went to the bathroom to wash her hands and cool herself off. After a few minutes, she got out of the bathroom and saw the younger looking at her. Chaeryeong gives her a small smile and Ryujin goes to her quickly.
"Jagi" Ryujin said softly and caressed her face
"Are you okay? hmm?" Ryujin asked
"Y-Yeah" Chaeryeong said softly
"They said you got a stomach bug, but don't worry. You'll be better in a few days my jagi and I'll be by your side the whole time" Ryujin said and it made Chaeryeong smile
"Thank you jagi" Chaeryeong said and Ryujin chuckled, kissing the younger's forehead.
After a while, Yeji got back with Ryujin's things and of course she came with Lia
"Oh my gosh Chaery! are you okay? are you alright?" Lia asked worriedly as she went towards Chaeryeong, pushing Ryujin to the side
Yeji only chuckled, well of course Chaeryeong and Lia spent more time together.
"Yah!" Ryujin whined but was completely ignored. Lia was all over Chaeryeong, asking tons of questions
"Are you alright? have you ate something bad again? did you got any-"
"Unnie, I'm fine" Chaeryeong said and chuckled and Lia lets out a sigh of relief
"You better be taking care of her properly Ryujin" Lia warned
"Of course I am" Ryujin said and crossed her arms, a little bit annoyed that Lia was all over her girlfriend
"Jagi" Chaeryeong called and Ryujin immediately goes to her
"Yes jagi? want anything?" Ryujin asked
"Can I have coffee?" Chaeryeong asked
"I'm sorry jagi hut coffee will make you more dehydrated now that you're sick. I can order you hot chocolate or something else if you want" Ryujin suggested
"Hmm, hot chocolate sounds good" Chaeryeong said and Ryujin smiled
"Okay, you can have chocolate then" Ryujin said and was about to stand up so she could go out and buy what the younger wanted but she was stopped by her
"Why? I'll buy it now for you jagi" Ryujin said
"Can't Yeji unnie buy it for me? I want you here beside me" Chaeryeong said
"Go on Yeji, buy what Chaery wants" Lia said
"What?! I'm not their butler or anything" Yeji said in defense
"Buy it or no cuddles later back at home" Lia warned and Yeji sighed
"Fine, be lucky that I love you and I owe Ryujin and Chaer a lot" Yeji said and went out
The three that were left chuckled and just talked about some things.
Night came and it was only Ryujin and Chaeryeong left. Ryujin was just getting ready for bed, Chaeryeong was still watching tv since she couldn't go to sleep without the older beside her.
"You should be sleeping now jagiya" Ryujin said as she got out of the bathroom
"But I can't..."
"Why? hmm?"
"I want you beside me please" Chaeryeong said softly and Ryujin couldn't say no to her.
"Alright, alright, wait first" Ryujin said, she went to turn off the lights and then goes beside Chaeryeong. Good thing the bed was big enough to fit the two of them.
Chaeryeong hides her face on the crook of Ryujin's neck as Ryujin caressed her hair.
She grabbed the remove and then turned off the tv but she grabbed her phone and played a song that Chaeryeong loves.
She starts playing it and Ryujin hums along. It made Chaeryeong smile, she misses this, whenever she would hear Ryujin singing, now that she was close to her made her worries go all away.
"Goodnight jagi, I love you"
"I love you too jagi"
