———— David Rossi, Spencer Reid.

I look at Reid, who is in his chair with his eyes closed and a book on his lap. What's happening with him? Reid looks really, really tired and unhealthy. I don't know what's the problem, but I need to know right now.

Hotch is in his office when I knock the door. He looks at me and he smiles a little bit.

"Dave. We have a case?" He asks, leaving his coffee on the table.

"No, I wanted to make you a question, if that's fine."

"Yeah, sure. Tell me."

I look at Reid. He's resting his head on the table. Damn, this is bad.

"I'm worried about Spencer. He looks really tired, he doesn't talk that much, he doesn't eat and he's more introverted than before. I think he needs help."

"Reid? I didn't notice. Maybe I can call Spencer and talk with him now. Do you want that?"

"No, he's going to get scared and I don't want that right now." I sigh, looking at Hotch. "I'm talking with Spencer, it's not a problem."

"Alright. If something happens, please tell me."

"Sure, Aaron. Thanks."

"No problem, Dave."

I go out and walk towards Reid. He doesn't looks at me, he really looks bad.

"Reid, please come with me."

"Uh? Oh, hi, Rossi." His voice sounds tired. "What happened?"

"Come to my office."

"I didn't do anything."

I can't. I laugh and just grab his hand to pull him towards my office, behind me. He sighs, but he doesn't do anything to stop me.

"Rossi?"

I close the door. Reid looks really worried now, but he's tired so he doesn't move until I sit him on a chair.

"We need to talk. Don't worry, I'm not scolding you, but I need to talk about this." I look at his eyes while I seat on a chair. "You're not eating or sleeping well. You don't even talk or read. What's happening? Why you don't eat or get enough sleep? Because that's not fine and I should punish you. You're not taking care of yourself, kiddo."

"I don't... feel like eating or sleeping. I just want to do my best at work, and that means that I need to use all my time."

"You can't be good at work if you don't have energy. That means that you NEED to eat and sleep, young man! You can't do this to yourself, Spencer."

"I'm sorry, Rossi..."

"You don't take care of your health. Why?"

"You're going to punish me if I tell you. It's a silly reason."

"It's not silly if it makes you stop eating, sleeping and talking, Spencer." I say, worried and angry. I would like to help him, but I can't if he doesn't talk. "Come on. You can trust on me, right?"

Reid stays quiet. I sigh and take his wrist to make him come closer to me. I make him sit on my lap and he immediately hugs me, starting to sob.

"I'm sorry." Reid cries, hiding his face in my shoulder.

"Okay, I'll stay with you if you need that. I am here and you're not alone, kiddo."

He's acting like a little kid, so I hug him like he's a little kid. Reid needs a dad, he needs to be a kid for once in his life. He needs a dad that takes care of him, I know that. And for this time, I'm being his dad. Because he needs it and he deserves it.
