Elena was confused about all of it. She didn't understand but right now she didn't really have time to try. Elijah had told them about the elixir he had planned to use for Katherine, but Damon was not on board. They knew johns rings wouldn't work either seeing as Elena was a part of the supernatural

"Then why bring Mary Poppins here if she's useless" Damon snarled making Luna sigh at his antics "you know what Damon if your gonna be an immature prick then get out, your not being helpful, and keep testing my patients I'll turn your brain to mush" Elijah couldn't help the small smile that graced his face, she had fire "I'd like to see you try RavenCroft" he spat back, Elijahs brow furrowed and he stepped between them "RavenCroft?" He questioned making the red head shrug "my last name" Elijah couldn't quite place it but he was sure he had heard that name before

"What was the idea you had?" Stefan interjected "well, we'd tie her life to another human, and when she died, she would come back, and the person she's linked too would die instead... but they'd have to be blood related" Elena shook her head furiously "no, not happening" Stefan sighed, he knew Elena would never go for that "then give the ring to Jeremy and use him!" Damon put forth but Luna shook her head "the use of the ring would negate the spell and Elena would die" Damon was growing annoyed, stomping off in a huff like a child who had been told off

Stefan wondered off after him to make sure he wouldn't do anything stupid, leaving Elena with Araeluna and Elijah "You'd think he'd understand why I'm willing to do this" the brunnete huffed, finding herself getting riled up by Damon's stubbornness. Elena touches the elixir bottle and lifts it upright "Why are you?" Elijah questioned. He was curious about why she was willing to take such a risk on her life "I'm the key to breaking the curse. Klaus is here because of me. If I don't stop him, then he's going to hurt people. It's that simple" Luna credited Elena, not everyone would be so willing to risk their life for other people

"You know, there's a possibility this elixir won't work. I don't want to mislead you" Elijah seemed like an honest man, Luna was still intrigued by him "I know the chance I'm taking" before Luna can say anything, They hear Jenna yelling. Elena rushes out and as Luna heads to follow Elijah holds his arm out stopping her, looking down at her with curiosity "where is it your from" she looked up at him, he slightly towered over her. She was tall but he was taller "England, the Lake District specifically, my family lived near the mountains" she wasn't sure why she told him exactly where, but she had gathered from his intrigue he was looking for an answer to something "hmm" he hummed before letting his hand fall

They joined to see Alaric had returned, Stefan had told her all about him, and showed her his photo incase she ran into him seeing as he'd been inhabited by klaus, she held up her hand with a stoic look on her face, his arms lashing to his side as if tied by rope and he was brought to his knees "no stop! It's him, the real him not Klaus" Elena called and Luna immediately let go "my apologies, but atleast I didn't kill you" she sort of shrugged "it's fine" Alaric sighed pulling himself of the ground " If klaus is done with you, Why did he let you go?" Stefan asked in confusion "He wanted me to deliver a message. The sacrifice happens tonight"

Elena had gone to follow Damon seeing as once again he'd wondered off in a huff, Jenna and Stefan were updating Ric on everything and Luna had zoned out looking out of the window racking her brain trying to think of a solution "you seem disturbed" Elijah strolled over to her knocking away her dazed gaze "I am... my best friends girlfriend is about to be sacrificed and we're relying on her surviving through a centuries old potion that we have no clue wether it works or not... no offence" she rubbed her arm nervously "none taken.. but it will work. I did after all procure it myself all those years ago" he had a sort of small smile on his face "well, let's hope so because I don't want to have to clean up Damon's mess if he doesn't get what he wants or see Stefan heartbroken.." before elijah could say anything a loud cry rang through the house and Stefan rushed to the stairs

Everyone chasing after him, they turned the corner to see Stefan with Elena wrapped in his arms and tears on her face as Damon glared at his brother "What did you do?! Huh? What did you do?!" Stefan yelled and it didn't take long for them to figure it out "I saved her life" he spoke unapologetically, not fazed about taking her choice away "You're so bent on dying, at least this way I know you'll come back" in that moment Luna realised just how much elena meant to damon, and she was worried

"As a vampire! She'll come back a vampire" Luna yelled at him sick of his childish behaviour "It's better than nothing else" Damon frowned "How could you, of all people, take that choice away from her?" Luna knew he was referencing how Stefan forced him to turn all that time ago and now Damon had taken away Elena choice

Damon locked eyes onto Elena "Go ahead: wish me an eternity of misery. Believe me, you'll get over it" Stefan rushes over to Damon and pushes him into the wall. Anger bubbling out rabidly. Elena was yelling as Damon yanks one of the stair railings out and pushes Stefan against a wall with it
"Admit it. You just wish you had the balls to do it yourself" he spat, with nothing he could say Stefan punched him in the face several times in a row. Damon falling to the floor with blood all over his face, when stefan goes to continue Luna decided she'd had enough

"Stop it!" She sent both of them in different directions separating them. Jenna's eyes blew wide, she'd never seen things like this before, everything was new and confusing. Damon rushed out of the room and elena had ran to Stefan, Luna had walked off back to the library, to her grimoire to try and find a way to stop all of this

"Well, it sounds like you won't be needing this anymore. Feeding her vampire blood rendered it useless. Please tell Elena I'll be back before nightfall. We'll proceed as planned" she was startled by Elijahs voice having not been paying attention to anything but her book "I need to find a way to keep her from turning, don't suppose you know anything" Elijahs clamped mouth and silence confirmed he did not "I would however suggest to you, to get out of town, if Niklaus finds out about a powerful, basically unaging witch, he'll want you for himself" Luna took a deep breath

" I'm needed here to help take him down, besides If he wants me, he'll have to be strong enough to take me, And your going to make sure that doesn't happen when you kill him... right?" She'd been told all about the plan, originally it was just bonnie but now that she was back the pair of them were to weaken klaus as much as they could for Elijah to finish him off "yes, of course" Elijahs words somehow didn't bring her comfort

She had no idea how this would go

Or the mess she would get into
