Everything that could have gone wrong did. Damon being Damon acted impulsively and freed Tyler and Caroline. The witch was glad two innocents were safe but he should have known that klaus would have backups. Luna had spent the day with Bonnie, apparently Elenas biological father was ready to sacrifice his life so that elena wouldn't turn. So she had to teach bonnie the spell

It wasn't that she didn't beleive in bonnie. She could feel how powerful that witch was, but this was only the beginning of her journey, she still had a lot to learn. So bonnie would perform the spell to keep elena alive, And Luna being the much older witch would help elijah to kill klaus. But Luna was hoping bonnie would finish early so they could still do this together. Although her nerves really weren't helping her

Stefan had called her to tell her that klaus had just taken elena. And that Damon wasn't answering his phone, she put her phone back in her pocket and rubbed her hand over her face frustrated as she stood in the woods, where she was meeting Elijah soon "something wrong" she didn't react to his sudden appearance having sensed him coming "oh you know, just Damon setting more fires than I can put out at once, I fix one problem he causes just for him to go and make more... your brother has Elena. We should go over the plan" Elijah watched her as she shuffled around chaotically

"Must you be the one to put out these fires?" He was intrigued by her. Why was she wondering around doing all of this if it irritated her so much "yes.. who else will do it" she stopped wondering around but he could still feel the stress radiating from her "you know, I've had time since this morning to remember something, about a coven. A long line of witches that had a knack for tricky spells" she turned to face him with furrowed brows, his suit flawless still "you know my family spent a long time in England, I remember meeting a member of this coven by the name of Annalise... Ravencroft" if Luna was shocked she hid it well but he couldn't help but listen to the sound of her heart rate spike just a little bit

"What are you getting at Elijah, so you knew my grandmother" she shrugged as if it meant nothing "well I searched for her for a reason, I knew her secret, I guess I'm just wondering wether it was passed on to you" she was getting annoyed, this wasn't something she discussed anymore "it's not a problem. I assure you" he seemed appeased by her words "I'm just saying the last thing we'd need tonight is..." she held her hand up stopping his words "enough, I don't wish to talk of this" Elijah had gotten the message. And he was assuming she hadn't told anyone, not if she didn't even want him to utter the words "alright then, let's prepare ourselves for the fight then"

Stefan had found out about Elenas aunt. His anger towards Damon for messing around with everything had dissipated quickly when he realised he had to do something to stop this. He knew what he had to do

Luna got a call from Damon, telling them to meet at the old witches house, Elijah sped them there not wanting to waste any time, when they arrived they saw Alaric stood at the door yelling for Bonnie to let him out "what's going on?" Luna rushed forward "I did the spell, but I can't let them come with us, no one else needs to be in harms way" Bonnie explained, but the red head was looking around "where's Stefan?" Her eyes landed on Damon who held a guilty look on his face "he's trying to take Jenna's place, klaus picked Jenna as his vampire because we meddled... Stefan couldn't let her die" anger immediately raised in her "you let him go?" She shoved him as he held his hands up "of course not! I had no idea till I got here!" He yelled back "fuck!" She yelled as she turned her back to Damon, fire blazing in her eyes "let's go" her voice shaky with anger

When they arrived they realised they were too late. Stefan was on the floor incapacitated, and Jenna was laying on the alter dead, grey veins reaching up her face, Luna let out a shaky breath at the sight. Jenna was innocent, she was kind and she was Elenas family. This is not what was supposed to happen. Luna held her hand out as Damon nearly sprang forward as Klaus but into Elenas neck, "fail us and I'll kill you myself" Luna states to elijah who simply looks at the girl in wonder

Elenas body descended to the floor as klaus arms blew wide, cheers of succeeds leaving him "now" Luna and Bonnie join hands walking out from the trees and down into the quarry. The witch noticed them immediately but before Greta can react, Damon sneaks up behind her and snaps her neck. Then Damon rushes to elena, kneels down and picks up Elena's body before helping Stefan and ripping the stake from his brothers back and getting Elena to safety

"Phasmatos Infero Eseri Gratas, Disasustos Vom, Mas Pro Je Ta Sue Te. Victamas Veras. Phasmatos Tribum" they chant as they get closer to Klaus "no, you were dead!" He yelled at Bonnie, his body twists and turns in awful ways as they chant "I'll
Kill you!" He yells as he falls to his knees, before falling awkwardly against the rocks next to him

"Elijah?" Klaus spits out, betrayed and hurt
"Hello, brother." Elijahs voice drips with disdain. Stefan had gotten up and walked up to stand behind the witches. Luna watched as Elijah punches his arm into Klaus' chest, grabbing a hold of his heart. "In the name of our family, Niklaus..." And just before it was over, just before klaus suffered at his brothers hand "I didn't bury them at sea!" Klaus yelled, halting Elijahs movements "What?" The girls had stopped chanting but Luna was waiting prepared incase something happened

"Their bodies are safe. If you kill me, you'll never find them" klaus was bargaining for his life "Elijah! Don't listen to him" stefan begged him "Elijah. I can take you to them. I give you my word...brother." Luna can see that Elijahs mind has been made up "Do it and I'll take you both out" she seethed at him "You'll die" he doesn't turn to look at her "I don't care" he then turns to her, he can see the anger on her face, it's not an easy decision for him, but family is his everything "I'm sorry." He speaks before he and his brother disappear from their sights

"No" stefan cries as defeat settles around them. All of this loss, and for what? For klaus to get away with it all ? For Elijah to betray them? It wasn't fair. None of this was fair
