Nostaglic Meetings

I finally arrive at 'Sauvage Wine & Dine' and i must say, the restaurant is just like the name suggest. Everything there felt expensive and fancy even the vibe of the people there and the atmosphere smelled 'rich'.

After finding a suitable parking space,  i switched off my air conditioning, headlight and radio. I applied some lip gloss onto my lips and lastly i switched the ignition off and grabbed my bag before exiting my car.

I stood outside my car fixing my dress and hair, i then closed the car door and walked gracefully toward the fancy restaurant, as i walk through the large doors i couldn't help but gawk at how luxurious everything looked. From the restaurant staff to the guest/customers everyone looked sophisticated and wealthy here. I could never.

After i was done practically gawking at the place i looked around and when my eyes made contact with Jenny's a smile immediately made it's way to my face..she was grinning from ear to ear- she basically got up from her chair and ran over to me which brought all the attention over to us-everyone was looking at us but i didn't care i ran to her as well and we both embraced eachother in a tight hug while the people watched on.

We were done hugging and Jenny was now complimenting my look and telling me of how pretty and 'glowing' i looked. I returned the compliments ofcourse before we walked over to our table, she told me there was someone who she wanted to introduce me too and all of a sudden i excited. Well because everyone who Jenny's ever introduced me to were genuinely good people.

We walked up getting closer to our table when i noticed a man sitting on a chair at our table, his back was facing us and i figured that was the person Jen wanted to introduce me to.

We finally reach our table and i hug Jen once more before going to sit-but before i could pull my chair out the man did it for me- i didn't notice when he stood up but he was practically towering over me.

"Here let me" he says smoothly before pulling my chair out and i step aside to let him, all the while i was looking at him..it's just something about him- his face looks too familiar like I've seen or even met him before.I was in my own world standing there and staring at him trying hard to remember his face before i heard him clearing his throat which brought me back to reality.

He smirked at me "Staring is rude" he whispered with that breathtaking smirk plastered on his face. Goddd

I slowly breathed in before apologising , "i'm sorry..-uhh you're?"

He lifted his left eyebrow "Nic, nic you can call me nic."he introduces.

I extended my hand "Elizabeth but you can call me Betty it's nice to meet you .. Nic-" ,i said while shaking his large hands firmly. He chuckled before lifting my hands to his pink plump lips where he laid a soft and delicate kiss to my knuckles making me blush. He looked at me in my eyes saying "well it's a pleasure to finally meet the lovely ...Betty" he mumbles the last part before Jenny cleared her throat. "Get a room you two" she whispers while laughing, Nic joins in and the two start laughing quietly.

After we were all seated a waiter came over to our table and took our orders. I couldn't help but notice Nic's eyes were on me all the while so i looked over at him and he smirked.

    Jenny started up random conversations here and there but he remained silent staring at me while i yapped away with Jenny. I could feel his eyes me all the time while jen and i talked and while we ate..it felt weird because i could see how he was staring at me in my peripheral vision. After we had finished our meal i was about to say something before Jenny interrupted me.
