Into the Wolves Den

It's been 2 weeks since the revolution at Howling Hugs. The company has started to struggle a bit, causing Kyle to consider getting a new job at that McRolands, but he would much rather not make minimum wage at a dead end job. Richas has been teaching him how to suppress his urges, but he still wasn't ready. The stress of their job potentially collapsing was starting to get to them all, not just the wolves. 

Nevertheless, they head on to work as Clark the CEO was trying to figure out new ideas, starting by asking some of the new hires for some. Kyle saw it all, the anxiousness, the outbursts, the quitting, it was all going downhill and that help wanted sign on the burger joint was really tempting. Richas knew that the wrong job could mean someone could get hurt, wolfman or man. Richas promised Kyle to take him somewhere where could meet more wolves after he got a hold on his fear issue, but there didn't seem to be any other options.

"Richas, where are you taking me? I need to find a new job that doesn't do nights." Kyle says, with worry on his face.

"You'll see" Richas responded with

This tunnel was a lot more messy and ragged, like it's been used a lot.

Richas finally explains "we're coming here because I believe we both need some advice from the wisest people I know" and as they exit the tunnel he says "welcome to the wolves den"

And Kyle's excited expression is immediately ruined by what looks like a community center being used as a rehab center, if it was in a dirt cave. Kyle was quite confused. "Trust me, the people here are very wise" Richas responds. "Hi~" a friendly wolf girl says upon noticing them. "Are you two here for the 'instinct control' class?"

"That's a thing?" Richas says. "I could probably use that" said Kyle.

Richas then continues with "we're actually here for some advice. We're wolves-in-hiding and the place we both work for is starting to crumble. Do you have anyone that could give us some advice?"

A rough voice from behind them says "What's there to say? Find a new job, ya traitor." The one speaking was a wolfman whose face is covered in scars. Richas with a annoyed look on his face says "nice to see you too #%$!" Kyle just ignored that and asked where that class was and was brought there. The scarred wolf continues on and says "still think humans can change?" Richas continues with "there are humans that work at the McRolands I took you to once, don't you remember, Reno?" He replies with "they're only friendly because they are threatened, if they had a choice we'd be dead, you of all people should know. Or have you forgotten about Cass-"

"Don't you DARE mention her!" Rich snaps. there is a deafening silence.

Rich then says "she just didn't understand" the look on Reno's face as he left was telling 'your lucky she only left.'

Kyle however was having a nice time, learning different exercises and practices and even got a free bone as a treat. He even got to know more people who've had similar situations as him. He definitely wants to come back so that he could potentially not harm someone when he gets scared while in wolf form. 

Half an hour passed and Richas was just in the lobby reading the old magazines the whole time. "I'm definitely gonna come back here- ... are you ok?" Kyle says then asks. Richas with a faint smile on his face said "I'm fine, don't worry."

"And the rehab thing isn't the only thing here, sometimes there's games, like a little fair. It's practically a little hub for us." Rich continues. The two head off and went home, but Kyle couldn't stop wondering what happened between Richas and the scarred wolf. Why did he call him a 'traitor?'
