Sumedh's POV :

We sat there for a long time, not knowing how late it went until my phone rang.

It was Mallika's dad. She looked at the caller and then at me.

"Pick it up, tell him you're with me and I'm safe." She says.

I pick up the call and instantly his voice boomed "beta, is Mallika with you, is she okay?" He sounded worried.

"Uncle calm down. She's okay, we're returning home." She shook her head but I didn't listened.

"Okay, come soon." I cut the call and she snatched the phone

"I don't want to go home to that lady." She says looking away

"She's your mother-

"I don't care. I don't like her. She does what she wants. She doesn't respects my wishes, so I don't want to see her." I sigh. Looks like she has lots of complaijs with Mrs. Mehra.

But it's not my place to interfere

"Let's go home everybody is worried. Stay with Ruhi if you want." I suggest. Ruhi will not mind definitely.

"But-

"Chup chaap chalo, bahut bad-bad karli tumne." She looks at me wide eyed

"When I was thinking to change my opinion of yours to sweet, you disrupted that moment. You're rude, batameez-

"Okay I'm rude, batameez and everything but abhi chalo. Chalo chalo." I grab her arm and pull her towards the exit. We hail an auto and reach the building.

Arjun and Vivan were in the compound and rushed to her when we reached.

"I'll be fine, please go and take rest. And congratulations." Mallika tries to smile at Arjun

"Hello, tum jeete ho Mr. Party tum doge mujhe, right Vivan bhaiya?" Vivan nods with a smile and supports Mallika.

"Where is Ruhi?" I ask looking at Vivaan

"In her apartment. She missed a seminar last week, so making it's report. She was insisting to wait for Mallika but I stopped her. Go meet her." He says looking at Mallika. She nods and looks at me

I blink and she goes away. And then both the boys surrounded me.
