"LATE HO JAYEGA." Vedika yelled at Mallika who was engrossed in her laptop and headphones god knows doing what.
"You're the bride, just go and chill. It's just 12pm. I'll join you straight at 6." She says with no care in the world.
"You're raising my blood pressure Ms. Mehra." Vedika said strictly
The door opened and the duo standing outside peeked inside. Vedika frowned in confusion not recognizing the girl but waves at Sumedh who smiles back at her.
"Hi Sumedh." Mallika's eyes drop towards the open door and her eyes shine seeing the person.
"Vedu." She squeals and jumps into the younger Aggarwal who laughs back and hugs her favourite person here.
"That's my sister Vedika, uh her name is also Vedika." Sumedh explains and Vedika nods confused and jealous.
The girls break the hug and turn towards Vedika. "This is Vedika Vedika and this is Vedika- no wait shit shoot no no- fuck!" Mallika panicks
"You can call me Vedu." Sumedh's sister says
"Or maybe you can call her Mrs. Akshay." Sumedh points playfully and Mallika grins agreeing.
"Ofcourse you'll side with your guy." she rolls her eyes
"her guy?" Junior Aggarwal frowns and Sumedh looks in panic to Mallika who shoots a confused look.
"They're dating." Vedika announces and the little girl's jaw DROPS
"What the HELL."
"Language." Sumedh scolds
"BHAI." she says in disbelief
"Vedu." Sumedh uses his elder brother card and she frowns.
"I need all details but I need to get my outfit from Ruhi di. And." she turns to Mallika who gulps. "I'm mad at you." And she leaves and the room falls silent
"She'll be okay in a while." Sumedh says
"yeah." Mallika mumbles
"Now that you're here." Vedika says to Sumedh who nods confused
"Your ask to get yourself and your girlfriend ready in 2 hours. Vivan will be here in 2 hours and pick you guys up and no questions, just come with him. This is an order of Vedika, no Mrs. Akshay. Now goodbye and." she walks to the door and turns around "no funny business." she grins and slams the door close.
"ew."
"ugh"
They both sigh and look at each other
"I've some work-
"didn't you listen to her? She's scary for god's sake, go get ready I'll be in my room."
"arey!" she grabs his arm
"what?" he turns around
"nevermind." She turns around but he grabs her wrist
"bolo."
"No."
"Mallika yaar."
"Ineedahug."
"what?" he frowns
"I'll take it." She encloses her arms around his neck and he stays still for a second before the realization hits him and his arms find his way to her back in a loose hug.
"I missed you." she whispers softly
"this is something new." he grins
"Come on, we're in a relationship not a typical couple but at least we can be a little affectionate." She complains
