Chapter 2 🦁: Be Prepared

🌑🌒🌓🌔🌕 ~ Dream world ~ 🌕🌖🌗🌘🌑

'Huh? A parade of animals...?' Cyno is having another weird dream and it seems they are waiting for something. A lion appears: "The world is about to be turned upside down. A shining new era is near." Cyno immediately knew that he was one of the Seven. "And where do we fit in?" One of the hyenas asks. "Just listen. We're going to take out Mufasa AND his son. And then I will be king!" The lion says and all the hyenas are cheering: "All right! Long live the king!"

"LONG LIVE THE KING!"

"I've fangs and courage that none can match. So be prepared!" The lion announces. Cyno just stood there and watched everything calmly, suddenly he got brought to a familiar room.

???: "What's on your mind little one?"

Cyno: "I'm starting to doubt all the history of The Seven."

???: "So, what is your judgment child?"

Cyno: "Nothing. We don't belong in this world. Still, I want to know why I keep having these weird dreams and the dripping sound that I keep hearing. I found nothing in the library and I doubt the crow will answer any of my questions let alone find a way for me to get back to Sumeru."

???: "Indeed, that crow is annoying."

Cyno: "..."

☀️ ~ Morning ~ ☀️

Cyno wakes up and does his usual morning routine before waking Grim up for breakfast. While they're on their way to the cafeteria Grim suddenly asks: "By the way, did you go somewhere last night? I got up to warm up some milk. Was gonna see if you wanted some but you weren't there."

"I just went out for some fresh air, Grim. No need to worry about it." Cyno assured Grim, Cyno just gave a side eye to the statue of The King of Beast before continuing their journey to the cafeteria for breakfast. On their way there, they bumped into Cater and Riddle: "Ohayo, Cyno-chan." Cater says cheerfully, suddenly Riddle walks up to Cyno. "Hm. Your tie is crooked, you know. A disorderly uniform suggests a disorderly dorm. As a prefect, you should set a better example for your dorm members. Even if you only have one member... There. All better."

"So, where's Ace and Deuce?" Grim asks. Normally, the red and blue duo will wait for them to come every morning. "By rule 249, it's their turn to wear pink clothes and feed the flamingos. By the way, it seems there was another incident last night." Cyno narrowed his eyes, waiting for the other to continue. "According to a portrait who witnessed it the victim was a second-year student from Scarabia House. His name is Jamil Viper. It appears the accident happened in the kitchen."

"Scarabia's Vice Housewarden?" Cyno asks. "Yes, now it's breakfast time, so he may be in the cafeteria. Let's go see." Riddle says as they make their way to the cafeteria.
