'Huh? What's that sound?' Cyno starts gaining back his consciousness back and discovers that he is in a coffin. He is wearing a  strange-looking cloak covering up the usual outfit he wears whenever he goes to the desert. 'I still have my vision, that's good enough.'

"Damn it. I have to hurry up and find the uniform before someone sees me..." Cyno hears a strange voice outside and assumes that they want to steal his clothes. He can open the lid and pin down the thief, but on the other hand, he has to be careful since he doesn't know anything about his opponent what they are capable of, or where he is about. A risky bet but that's the only option he has left. Cyno closes his eyes and pretends to sleep and see what happens.

"Ugh, this lid is heavy! Take this! Mya-ha!" Blue flame starts to burn on the lid but Cyno keeps his cool and waits patiently until the lid is open. The moment it opens he opens his eyes and the first thing he sees is a black cat-look-a-like creature wearing a black and white striped ribbon with blue flame coming out from his ears it seems he didn't notice that Cyno is already awake and ready to strike at him. "Now to grab it... What?! You're already awake?! Mfnaghhh!" Cyno strikes the creature with his lightning strike successfully pinning him down on the floor. "Hmmm? A talking...tanuki?" Grim angrily shakes off his hold. "Hey, who is calling me a tanuki?!" Cyno unamused folding his arms in front of his chest: "Oh? Then who are you? More importantly, what are you? I've never seen any creature like you nor read any books that mention a creature like you." Cyno stares curiously at the creature in front of him, he needs to do some research about it later, but for now: where is he? Cyno quickly caught the creature by the collar and gave the if-you-dare-breath-out-any-fire-I'll-kill-you look, the creature dared not move or say anything. "Good, tanuki." Then he starts walking around to have a better look at the place where he was bought.

'It seems like this is a school, just like the Akademiya but much larger and more...modern(?) looking, anyway I need to find a way back to Sumeru first. I wonder if I can take this tanuki with me so I can have a closer look, maybe have him as an audience for me to practice my jokes.'  They stop at a place that seems like a library, Cyno is fascinated by all the floating books and how big it is with all the books he has never seen before. 'It's a shame that I can't read any of them once I found my way home.'

The tanuki in his arm starts to struggle out of hand: "Hey, human let me go! You dare to treat me like that! I'll burn you to a crisp-" Suddenly a whip comes out of nowhere and wraps the tanuki up. "Me-YEOW! Hey, what gives?!" A strange-looking man starts walking over them. He's tall, wearing a suit with a crow feather coat outside, he also has a crow mask on his face and a top hat on his head. "Consider it as the Lash of Love."

Then he turns to Cyno: "Ah, I've finally found you

Then he turns to Cyno: "Ah, I've finally found you. You're one of the first-year new students, right?" Students? Him? 'Who is he? I better keep my guard up.' The man started talking again: "It violates the school rule for bringing the poorly trained familiar, you know?" Cyno dumfounded: "Sir, that's not-"

"Let me go! There is no way I'll follow this lowly human!" This tanuki has a big gut, he doesn't know that he just calls General Mahamatra a lowly human. "Don't test my patience, tanuki." His head garment starts to glow, and his arms have electric bandages with claws coming out of them, he grabs his weapon then slams it hard to the ground. This scared both the tanuki and the crow man in front of him. He points his weapon at the crow man making him sweat a little: "You! I have one question and one question only: Where am I?"

"W-Why don't you put the weapon away then I'll explain everything you need to know when we're on our way back to the Mirror Chamber for the orientation?" Seem his interrogation skill still useful even in this world. "Then start talking." Cyno returns to his normal self and puts his weapon away, they start their journey back to the Mirror Chamber: "This is Night Raven College, an institution for students from over the world who demonstrate a rare aptitude for magic. It's the most prestigious academy in Twisted Wonderland." Cyno kept quiet as heard the man explaining to him about this school. 'So it is a school. Magic? So they can wield their elemental energy without a vision?' The man then starts talking again: "I am Crowley the Headmaster of this school. Only Those whom the Dark Mirror perceives as having a talent for magic are admitted to the college. Those who are selected are summoned to the campus through those "gates", which can appear anywhere. A black carriage bearing one such gate should have come to meet you." Cyno started to remember, that the carriage did appear in front of him when he was on his way back to Aaru Village which brought him here. Is this considered as kidnapped? Crowley continues: "That black carriage serves to receive students are chosen by the Dark Mirror. It too bears a gate that connects to this campus. And as you know, sending a carriage to meet someone on a special day is a time-honored tradition."

'It feels more like a kidnapping than being honored. It seems like most people in this world can use the power that calls "magic". Different from Vision which is given by an archon and can only use one elemental power according to the element of that vision. Things are getting more complicated than I suspect, I better get more cautious since I'm the one with a lot of disadvantages in this world. But why do I have a feeling that I won't be back to Sumeru any time soon? ' *sigh*

While Cyno was in deep thought, they had already arrived at the Mirror Chamber. Crowley then turned back and said: "And we're here. Hope that explain all your questions. Now, let's get your orientation started."
