Chapter 1 🌹: Cater Diamond ♦

⌛~ Time skip to morning ~⌛

Cyno wakes up early and finishes his routine as usual. Since it's still early, he lets Grim and Ace sleep a little bit more and tells the ghosts to wake them up in thirty minutes. While he takes his time in the hot bathtub trying to relax his mind and muscles, he steps out and gets ready for school after a few minutes.

The school uniform is a little bit too long for him. So he rolls up his pants over the ankle and starts dressing the uniform normally. Cyno had never worn clothes like this before so it was challenging at first, but the most difficult one was the necktie. He has to ask for help from one of the ghosts, he'll need to learn how to do it in the future but for now, this will do. He finishes off with a pair of black high-top gladiator sandals, Cyno decides to put his head garment in his room and tie his hair into a low ponytail but still leaves the bang to cover half of his face. For accessories, he just wears his usual black choker and his vision on the side of his uniform.

By the time he was done, there was a loud thud on the door. He was about to go and see who was it when he realized the familiar voice, it was Deuce looking for Ace. The two just start to bicker whenever they meet. 'They kind of remind me of Kaveh and Al' Haitham. How in the archon they're roommate, I'll never know.' Cyno goes to get Grim while the duo continues their argument, when Cyno and Grim walk downstairs both Deuce and Ace are awestruck at Cyno's appearance. 'Beautiful'. The four of them start to make their way to Heartslabyul's dorm, while Grim was still happy that he has become a student and Ace still poking fun at him. They start to fight again, Deuce is silent looking at Cyno since this is the first time he sees the General without his jackal head garment. Cyno senses that he is staring at: "Deuce, is something wrong?"

"U-Uh n-no i-it's just that this is the first time I see you without your head garment," Deuce said. "Oh yeah, now that you mention that. You look less intimidating without your head garment." Ace comments even though he already saw Cyno last night without it. "But the uniform looks good on you though." Cyno doesn't know how to react besides blushing: "T-Thank you." The trio is surprised by Cyno's reaction. They thought he was emotionless but he's a caring and cute person. They are still amazed at how he became the General despite his small body frame and young age. Not long after, they arrived at the Heartslabyul's dorm door. Cyno was corrected when all the doors that lead to each dorm were made from mirrors.

After they go through the mirror, Cyno sees the rose maze and an impressive dorm building. Cyno is awed by how beautiful this place is.
