Chapter 23: Taking Precautions

hahah! I've written something. an AZY POV ( first person. XD) I apologized for the wrong grammar and such. I want to write about Chap 24 but it turned out like this. :))) It was fun writing it though, XD

"You heartless moron!" 

It was 8 in the evening; I was about to go home after my basketball game with Zhou Ge at the empty court near my house and somehow received an incoming International call from America. 

It was from a woman, I know from my childhood. An annoying one, that is.
"I want to sleep on that day, walk on your own." As soon as I've told her that I'm too lazy to fetch her at the airport tomorrow morning, she shouted at me on the other line.

Infuriated...

"Just because we've broken up doesn't mean that I'd be ditched like dirt. An Ziyan, don't you dare not come to fetch me or else..."

"Else what?" I replied uninterestedly with the threat she is making. It's not real anyway. Not that I actually car...

"I'll tell Mai Ding all about your dirty little secrets and most specially the embarrassing ones, hah!"
I removed the phone closed to my ear and glared on it at arm's length. Like the real person is right front of me, also staring at me with a smirk of victory on her face.

This girl has upgraded her cunning skills to the next level.

"I see that you're becoming a certified bitch on your long stay in a foreign country, congratulations."
I retorted to make a comeback but yet the girl on the other line just giggled at me, concluding the result of the conversation.

"If you don't want me to say anything then be good and be there, Bye Bye!: D" Subsequently, the call had ended, replacing her voice with the dulling sound of the dial tone.

"Oi, Bai Xiao Si?!" I clicked my tongue to display my disapproval for she ended the call immediately but after that a faint smile appeared on my face. 

She's coming back, Bai Xiao Si.

BXS: "Hey, want to be together with me?"

If it's not for her proposition...then maybe both of us were still at the point of being string-puppets of our own parents.

For instance, still being paired like two lovebirds in pseudo family meetings and thereafter will leave us behind so that we could "have some alone time and talk properly on OUR DATE."

This setup will continue until both of us agree to have a mutual understanding in turning into a REAL couple.

She's always the aggressive one while on the other hand I'm on the passive side of things. Even so, we still have other similarities.

We both hate our family and keenly interested with the idea of ruining their expectations for us by having a fake relationship.

Even though that was a fraud, we've confided each other and became good friends. I prank her all the time and she gets mad at me as always but that's just how it works with the two of us.

Our families and the people around say that we're perfect for each other. Well, that's true.

If not, then our act would be useless in the first place because it's not effective as it's supposed to be.

Bai Xiao Si and I are perfect deceivers and we can just be ourselves. So this isn't a bad thing doing this.

'I can just be me.'

I said in my thoughts and remembered someone's smiling face. The first time we've met, never in my life I'd fell for a boy. 

I fooled him, mocked him and eventually fell for him. 

With that, the most perfect relationship adored by everyone was ended with a single phone call away from America. It was still four years but we need to bring it to an end now already.

For I've chosen this person, the one who said that " I can't be shared to anyone."

Mai Ding didn't want anything from me. The son of the prestigious An family but...

Only me... An Ziyan.

As I arrived at my house, I opened the door and entered inside. I immediately went to my bedroom and get my laptop on the desk putting it on top of the glass table in the living room. Turning it on and adjusted the webcam suitably for him to see me while I simply do my stuff like usual.

This is rather foolish as I've said before but telling me that I am torturous on him was even stupid.

'This idiot's blind.' I felt irritated with that. I could always visit him but he doesn't want to.

He's still scared of the consequences of revealing what we have together. Nevertheless, I should understand.

I never wanted him to have a tough time with this and he looks cheerful doing this webcam conversations.

After all, I lov...

Yet, he doesn't stop pointing out things on what he sees on the webcam as certainly wrong.

What an overly-romantic kid and a good child he is. 

Having enough because of the drowsiness, I've decided to close the laptop while he was still going on with his chattering.

He needs to sleep early now because we're going somewhere else.

I've reached for my hand phone and dialed his number. He's going to meet Bai Xiao Si; the name of the girl he stole me away from.

My ex-girlfriend

My accomplice

My dear friend

I'll let him meet her, he wants friends, right? I'll just make sure that the distance between the two of them is not that too close.

I did say before that Bai Xiao Si and Me have the same likes.

I'm not jealous or anything.

Just taking precautions.
