dear child,
pure, sweet child
look at you
your beautiful, iNnocent soul
it shines through yOur crystal eyes
like a ray of sun thaT kisses everything it touches
everyone loves a youth like yours
sometHing so precIous, so cherished
that a mere touch can Not Grasp it
but with a beautiful Blinding youth like yours comes a curse
for when people see this innocence
they wAnt to hold it despite knowing they can't
and some accept this
for they know that if they take what isn't rightfully theirs
that they will tarnish it forever
corrupt the innocence they love
and they will never see it again
so they swallow their priDe and take the fate
yet some cHoke on this pride
it does not slide down their throAts Smoothly
and it stays on tHe forefront of their minds
oh, how they want to hold your youth
take it As their own
this desire will consume them
until there is nothing left to do but to fulfill it
and that they will do by any means they must
they will traP you in a web of friendshiP
forge the connEctions they need
so that you give them your trust
and so they caN wrap you around their finger
you may think you've made a friEnd
but you're Dancing in the jaws of the beast
how long will it take before the beast bites down
tears the Youthful bliss and innocence right out of you
sucks this wonder out of your blood through your skin
until there is nothing but a shell of what you used to be
left for the eyEs to see
and so
the sTorm begins
dear child,
damaged, broken child
look at you
your bruised, shadowed soul
it seeps out of rainy eyes
like clouds that devour the sun
until there is no light left to grasp to
