Chapter 2: Freezing Frost

In the Mossdeep Pokemon training School, Sapphire

We learned what Pokemon each of us got, I got a Mudkip, Anthrax got a Shupet, and Urgron got a Rhyhorn. After class we went home, I look at my Pokeball, Mudkip. Once I get home I get dressed in my pajamas and go to bed.

The Next Morning

I get up, get dressed, and go to school. Today we are going to be training. I grab my backpack and run out the door. "Urgron!" I yell while running to school. "Hi!" He yells back, I slow down to walk next to Urgron. "So, you got a Rhyhorn, right?" I ask him, "Yep, why do you ask?" He asks as an answer. "Just because I want to battle, yet, I would have the advantage," I laugh, "Yeah," He says. We walk over to school, talking about our classes, mostly Ela. When we get to school, we find out our lockers are right next to each other. When we get to class we see Anthrax sitting down writing down, what looks like a battle plan. "Hi Anthrax," Urgron says, sitting down next to him, "Oh, hey," Anthrax says. "What are you writing?" I ask him. "A plan," He answers. A few minutes later class starts, and we go to the battlefield of the Mossdeep City Gym.

In the Mossdeep City Gym, Vincent

I walk over to the gym and look around, this place is big, I think. I see some people talking and having fun, while I'm just sitting over in the corner with my partner, Sneasel. I was told this Pokemon is a 'Shiny Pokemon'. Apparently, that means it's different colors than it normally is. I like my pink and gold Pokemon. But, there is one thing I still wonder. Is it stronger than normal? I ask myself, there is only one way to test my theory. I have to battle someone, someone strong. I walk over to the group of friends I saw earlier, and ask, "Do one of you want to battle?" I ask him. "Of course," Someone in purple says, "What's your name?" He asks, "I'm- uhhhh - Call me Frost," I say, I don't like my real name much, so this will be my Code Name from now on. "I'm Anthrax," He says, putting out his hand, I shake it, "Let's battle!" I yell.
