Chapter 4: The Red Crustatian Pokemon

In the school library, Sapphire

It's so cute! I think while looking at water-type Pokémon. Magikarp evolves into Gyarados, it's fascinating how evolution works. Ding Dong, The bell tolls. Oh crab. I get up and run to class, I'm Late. "Sapphire, you're Late," The teacher says." I'm sorry," I say and sit down. History class begins.

At Home, after school, Sapphire

"Hi, Mom!" I say and run upstairs. "Come on out Mudkip," I say. "Kip!" It says. "I'm going to bed," I tell Mudkip. "Mudkip-kip!" Mudkip starts to jump around. "Okay fine, we can go to the beach, but I need to buy something first," I tell Mudkip. "Kip!" Mudkip jumps onto my head. I walk downstairs and go outside. "To the Pokémart!" I say, "Mudkip!"

A couple of minutes later, Sapphire

"Thanks for the Diveball!" I tell the shopkeeper. "Kip-Kip" Mudkip says. I walk down to the beach with Mudkip on my head. "The beach!" I yell. "Kip!" Mudkip yelps. "Go play," I tell Mudkip. "Kip-Kip!" Mudkip jumps off my head and starts running around. I look around to see if I can find the Pokemon I saw earlier. No luck. "Mudkip!" Mudkip calls. "What is it?" I ask. "Kip-Kip-Mudkip," It answers. What is it saying? I ask myself. "Kip!" It yells. I gasp, "It's Corphish! Mudkip, use Mudslap!" I yell. Mudkip hits Corphish in the face, blinding it temporarily. "Cooorrrrr," Corphish yells. It uses water gun to wash its face. "Mudkip, use Water gun!" I yell. "Kip!" I yelps. Mudkip uses water gun, but so does Corphish. I run behind Corphish and yell, "Go Diveball!" I throw the Dive ball at its back to catch it. 1, 2, 3... Caught! "Yes! I caught it, yes!" I yell. "Kip!" Mudkip yells and jumps on my head. "Let's go home and sleep," I say.

The next day, Sapphire

"Go Pokémon!" I throw both my pokéballs. "Cor!" "Kip!" They call. "Let's go to school!" I say as Mudkip jumps on my head. When I get to school the teacher tells us for the next month we will have off to go on our own short adventures. And I was in. I walked out of school later that day ready for what was to come.
