Y/n POV

After getting ready for the day I head to the kitchen of the penthouse that I live in with my so-called 'soulmate' and begin to make breakfast. It looked to be a good day outside in Brazil today, too bad I'm going back to Japan, where it's still quite cold. As I was cooking my mind began to wander to the email that I had received from 'Anri Teieri' , if memory serves my right I was called to be a manager at the Blue Lock project to create the 'Best striker'. 

That 's the reason I'm going back to Japan, to help them and to see just what kind of soccer player they produce out of 'Blue lock'.  I should be grateful for the opportunity, being away from the cold prodigy that I have to be soulmates with, god that sounds wonderful.

I remember just how long it took me to convince him, using the excuse that "I'm only going to see my family, you know that I haven't seen them since they moved back to Japan." I knew damn well that if I told him about the project he would reject it without giving it a second thought. 

I had told him that I would be gone for 2-3 weeks at most, but really it really just depends on how long the project takes. 'I should check to make sure that everything is packed just incas-' My thought process was cut off when I felt arms snake around my waist, yet again. 'God what a pain' I thought in my head trying my hardest to ignore him.

3rd person POV 

When Sae noticed you're ignoring him, he got even more pissed than he already was. You're his soulmate. His equal. His lover. How could you ignore him like that? It didn't help that he was still pretty pissed at the stunt you pulled when he woke up, but he'll admit, hear those word  coming out of your mouth sounded pretty fucking good.

Sae Itoshi, sharp spoken, cold and uncaring, when with you is the total opposite. Sae Itoshi, soft spoken, soft, caring and most of all, clingy, with you. He wanted you to be around him at all times, and so when you said you wanted to go to Japan, he very obviously, didn't want to let you go, but what kind of partner and son-in-law would he be if he didn't let you see you family? 

Sae, after being ignored by you and having his mood ruined, just clicked his tongue in annoyance and went to sit down. Soon enough he got a call from his new manager, what was his name again? Well it didn't matter, he was going to get fired soon anyway, all the managers he got after you, were garbage. They just didn't know how to do their job. 

"What." Sae said picking up the phone.

"Sae-san, you remember have a match later right."

"I know that. Is that the only reason you called me?"

"...."

"Well since you called, tell the rest of the team that I will be late."

"Wha-"

Without another word, he cut the phone. While you on the other hand, just scoffed at his attitude towards the poor manager. You have met him before, he was nice just a little bit too nervous about everything and Sae wouldn't help at all. Not with the way he acts towards others.  You found it quite annoying. 

About five minutes later you were done cooking breakfast for the both of you, you cooked pancakes. Sitting down you place the food in front of Sae and yourself, beginning to eat in complete silence. Both of you on your phones, Sae checking everything he had to do for the day while you just scrolled on social media.
