Rohit's heart pounded as he approached the mansion. The eerie silence surrounding the grand building heightened his anxiety. He had received a frantic call from Pippa and Ravi about Virat's disappearance, and his mind raced with worry.

As he reached the entrance, he found Pippa and Ravi already there, equally worried. Without wasting a moment, the trio entered the mansion, their footsteps echoing through the empty halls.

To their surprise, they found Virat sitting in the dimly lit library, engrossed in a book, his laughter filling the room. Rohit rushed towards him, relief flooding his senses. "Virat!" he exclaimed, reaching out to hug him.

But before he could embrace him, Virat's demeanor changed. His eyes turned dark, and a sinister smile crept onto his face. It wasn't Virat anymore; it was Edmund, the malevolent spirit haunting the mansion.

The trio watched in horror as Edmund, in Virat's form, engulfed Rohit in a hug. Pippa and Ravi exchanged worried glances, sensing something was amiss. "Virat, is everything alright?" Rohit asked, his voice laced with concern.

Edmund, still in Virat's guise, laughed evilly. "Oh, everything is far from alright, Rohit," he said, his voice dripping with malice. "I have taken Virat for myself. You will never save him now!"

With a flick of his hand, Edmund locked the mansion's doors, trapping Pippa and Ravi outside. Rohit's heart sank as Edmund's true form was revealed. "If you don't follow my orders," Edmund continued, "I will kill Virat instantly."

To demonstrate his point, Edmund raised a knife and made a swift cut across Virat's arm. Virat, or rather Edmund in Virat's form, let out a cry of pain, confirming the seriousness of the threat.

Outside, Pippa and Ravi knocked frantically, calling out to Rohit and Virat. But inside, Edmund's wicked laughter echoed, signaling the beginning of a terrifying ordeal for Rohit and his friends.

Pip and Ravi paced the small, dimly lit room, their faces etched with worry as they tried to figure out how to save Virat from the malevolent spirit of Edmund that had possessed him. The air was thick with tension, and their minds raced to come up with a solution. They knew that time was running out, and they had to act quickly, not just to save Virat but also to protect Rohit from Edmund's impending wrath.

Pip stopped suddenly, his eyes lighting up with a sudden idea. "We need to contact Ed and Lorraine Warren. They're the best in the business when it comes to dealing with paranormal threats."

Ravi looked at him with a mixture of skepticism and hope. "The Warrens? The paranormal investigators? Aren't they based in Connecticut?"

"Yes, but they often work in New York City. If we can get to NYC, we might be able to track them down and get their help," Pip explained, his voice gaining urgency. "It's our best shot at saving Virat and keeping Rohit safe."

Ravi shook his head firmly. "No, Sarge. I can't let you go alone. It's too dangerous. We don't even know if we'll find them."

Pip's eyes were resolute. "Ravi, we don't have a choice. Someone needs to stay here and keep an eye on Rohit and Virat. We can't leave them unprotected."

Their heated exchange was interrupted by the sudden arrival of Jane Thompson, her presence instantly commanding the room. She had clearly been listening in and quickly assessed the situation. "I'll go," she said decisively. "I can handle the drive and find the Warrens. You two need to stay here and make sure nothing happens to Rohit and Virat."

Pip and Ravi exchanged a glance, knowing she was right. Jane had proven herself capable time and again, and her resolve gave them a sense of hope. Finally, they nodded in agreement.
