A POETIC IRONY

A poet's journey is rich with irony,
Expressed solely through verse.
Words are our tools, our muse,
Yet seldom do they convey our depths.
We grasp the nuances, the intricacies,
But often remain a mystery to others.
We feel deeply, we empathize,
Yet hesitate to reveal our innermost thoughts.
Ironically, we shape life's twists into poetry,
Yet struggle to translate verse into reality.
Do we ever ponder the absence of poems?
Would we find solace in the absence of ink?
Could we convey our truths without verse?
People resonate with our words,
Yet fail to grasp their origin.
Do they truly understand, or merely reflect?
In this dance of emotions, I wonder,
Am I the conduit, or the one enlightened?
This dichotomy, though challenging,
Is the essence of what I cherish.
Let's face it, this paradox,
Is both the joy and burden of my passion.
