Another Day

The iron door closed behind him. He had achieved it. He had entered to the most secure bank of New York without anyone noticing him. Even Volt and Spider-Man didn't seem to notice it. He had reassured this by waiting half an hour watching the principal doors, but no one costumed fool in sight. And Prowler liked it. Because he hated them.

It's rather obvious why Prowler didn't like the two heroes. He's a SUPERVILLAIN and villains hate HEROES. It's elemental, dear Watson. But Prowler hated them due to another reason: their irritant sense of humour. Whenever he wants to do his job, they always appear there to stop him, that is okay, but they always do it joking and laughing of him, and that piss of him a lot.

Why they aren't capable of taking ONE thing seriously? It's insane! But Prowler didn't want to distract with kid games, he had a job to do. Advancing through the hall corridor, he found himself in the central room, in which was his objective: the vault.

Something moved in the shadows. With cat reflexes, Prowler stare the direction of the displacement, but only found the monotone movement of a CCTV camera, so he didn't give attention to it. He had more important things to do that destroy a CCTV camera.

What a mistake.

" Poor boy! He doesn't know we are watching him!", Volt joked.

"Yeah, but he almost discovered us! And that was your fault!", scolded Peter.

"Pete, don't be such a pooper! The important thing is he didn't care!"

"Because of my tech abilities", boasted Spider-Man.

"No, I think cause of the 'Parker luck'". Turning to look at Peter, he was pissed, so Kara asked. "What, I'm not right"

"Let's better focus on our guy... Speaking of which, where did he go?"

How on Earth can money be so heavy, thought Prowler by emptying the vault. Truth is, he was only carrying one bag and that weighted like hell. When he was filling the last bag, he heard the characteristic *THWIP* that gave away Spider-Man.

"No, this can't be...", started to say.

"Hey, you burglar, wanna hang me all the money and get in jail or do you prefer doing myself?"

"Let me go, I've more important things than fighting with a bug"

"First: no, you know I can't do that. And second: What the hell, man? Spiders aren't bugs, they're arachnids"

"Okay", said Prowler, charging his fist, purple sparkles of kinetic electricity surfing it." Seems gotta do it myself"

"Nope, sorry!", said Peter while dodging the punch, with his other hand shooted a web and pulled. In one second, the vault's gate was closed.

Prowler seemed to be listening to someone, because he was silent. Then, he watched Peter, with fury in his eyes:

"You're delaying me"

"Who was the one you were talking to?"

Prowler charged his punch one more time. Peter started to panic, knowing he won't dodge it one more time:

"Wait, wait! I didn't know you weren't enjoying this moment, but that doesn't justify you being that rude! I-I have games! Let's play cards?"

Peter dodged the punch, but Prowler were fast enough to catch him in midair. He launched Spider-Man with all of the kinetic energy directly to the vault's gate.

Seeing Peter sent flying across the room made Volt notice it was her time. Flying at an incredibly speed, she charged Prowler by saying:

"Prowly! Long time no see!"

"You too!? You'll have his destiny!"

Kara looked to the direction Prowler was saying. Hardly, Peter was removing all the concrete above him and standing up to continue the fight.

"You okay, webhead?", wanted to assure Volt.

"All correct here, Sparkles, keep fighting!", shouted the young hero in response.

Fifteen minutes later, they all heard the bank's alarm. Prowler said:

"Fine, we'll have another unauthorized guests"

"Are you calling us unauthorized?", asked Volt.

"Prowler, we are your best friends, how could you call us unauthorized?"

"I'm getting tired of this...!", said Prowler, interrupted by Spider-Man's punch.

"If you're tired of it, why you keep doing it?" questioned Kara, while holding him.

"Cause...I...Have...A...Family...To...Maintain", responded Prowler, trying to speak above of the repeatedly punching of the arachnid.

"If you need help... we can help you! You just have to say it!", told Peter to the villain.

"I don't need help from nobody, and less if that help comes by you!", said Prowler, slipping away of the duo. Peter ended unharmed in the ceiling. Kara could stop her landing, but felt pain in her tights. Prowler had scratched her, and blood was falling over the wound.

Clenching her teeth to try to forget the pain, Kara mumbled:

"You'll regret it"

She flied at the speed of thunder and lunged Prowler. There was an exchange of punches that led the villain to stand just under the gigantic chandelier. Not wasting any second the heroin shouted:

"Now, wallcrawler!"

Spider-Man, who was already positioned in one of the quartz walls, shooted four webs that sticked to the obsidian pillars that were holding the chandelier. Pulling by all of them due to his enhanced strenght, he could shoot down the pillars, letting the lamp go off.

"May you need an aspirine", asked Volt, looking up.

"What?", asked Prowler. When he looked up, tried to escape, but Kara stopped him:

"Sorry, Marauder, road closed cause works"

"The lamp went above Prowler's downer hemisphere. Pain taking over him because of the weight, he could only scream, begging to get out from under the lamp.

Sirens could be heard in the distance, so Kara walked over the defeated villain and said to him:

"Hey, now be a good boy and wait here until the police arrives, ok?"

Peter landed next to her, saying:

"Yeah, better not piss the police. They can be so rough when they want."

While the duo was leaving the fight scene, Kara turned to Peter, extending her fist:

"Good job, Spider-Man"

"Same, Volt", said the arachnid extending his fist to collide with hers.

"Now, I'm starving. Wanna go dinner to a restaurant?"

"Sure thing. Shall I call May to explain?", asked Peter.

"I remember last time you didn't called. I had also to eat her anger."

"Yeah, better not tempt the devil. I'll call her."

                                                             *A/N*

Hey, guys,

sorry for not puting an author note in the prologue, it's just Wattpad deleted all what I had written and I had to re-write it over, so maybe the two parts aren't exactly as they were.

also, this part I think it looked kinda short and bad to me idk.

see you tomorrow
