"Ha-eun!? What are you doing?" I frowned
"You heard me. You stole my place on this show... And I'm here to get it back."
"I STOLE your place on the show?!"
She is really making me look pathetic here
"Ha-eun... why are you doing this?! You're my best friend! And you know that's now how it happened!"
"Oh really? and how did it happen? All I know is... You knocked me unconscious and took my place while I was in Coma!"
"YOU TWO!" Jungkook yelled, "MY OFFICE NOW!" He screamed scaring the both of us, as we three walked towards his office.
As we both entered Jungkook slammed the door behind locking it.
"Ha-eun. Could you please explain to me what's going on?" he asked
"Just doing what you told me to do," she replied
"No, you're not." He said crossing his arms
"You were supposed to come here and accuse Y/n of faking her celebrity status and leave. Afterward, Y/n would give a heartfelt apology to the audience, and we would all move on."
So that's how this blast thing has been going on with everyone else.
"So why on earth would you make up your own drama and overcomplicate things?" he glared
"I didn't make it up. I mean it. I want my place on the show back." she said firmly.
"What!?" Jungkook and I exclaimed in unison, exchanging astonished glances.
"But... you're engaged! What about your fiance?" I asked, trying to make sense of the situation.
"Fiance is out of the picture. Quitting this show was an impulsive mistake, and I'd like to correct it." She said
"Well, you can't just walk back in. That's not how it works," Jungkook said, his tone resolute.
"I paid around a million to participate! You bet I'm going to be a part of it. I'm not going to let Y/n have fun at my expense!"
"Cut the crap, you have received back the full amount of the participation fee. Y/n's participation had nothing to do with your money," he stated
"Oh yeah? So you're letting her frolic around on the show for free? How is that fair to the other participant? Thanks to her, the winner will end up receiving a smaller amount of money! You seriously think that will fare well with other contestants?" She blabbered
I felt so betrayed, and stabbed, I kept looking down not wanting to even hear anything further from her.
"Not like it's any concern of yours... But Y/n's participation fee has been paid in full." He replied
How is that possibly true? I ain't that rich to pay him a million.
"By whom!?"
"By me" He nonchalantly replied
"Oh my god... I'll pay you back as soon as I can!" I said
"With what? That Ten thousand won note you keep in your Christmas penguin socks? He only did it so that he wouldn't have to find a replacement for me so late." She really humiliated me enough one more word and I would lose my control.
"Although that might have partially been the case... I also did it because I thought Y/n would play a valuable part in this season. And I was right. She is a breath of fresh air among everyone else. Everything that has been captured about her, has the highest rating. People enjoy how she's straightforward, how she behaves, how she performs, how she dresses herself, literally everything about her."
