Taesan couldn't help but chew on his bottom lip nervously as he waited for Leehan to finish payment. The blue hue was stinging his eyes now, he needed the yellow sun rays as soon as possible.
Leehan finally thanked the man and headed over to Taesan, standing over him with a small plastic bag in hand, "Dongmin, let's go." He says in a small voice. Taesan looks up from his phone screen and jumps to his feet almost immediately, he gives the owner a quick bow and follows after Leehan like a lost duckling as they exit the store, travelling back down the stairs.
A few steps behind Leehan, Taesan looked up when Leehan slightly stumbled away from the staircase and stopped himself in the middle of the pathway. Taesan slowed down to a pause as he broke into a small smirk when he saw how Leehan looked over his shoulder with a grin, "Quick!", he urged, large eyes barely visible now. He looked like he was striking a pose and Taesan couldn't help but find it funny. Letting out a chuckle, his lips grew into an amused grin. "What are you doing? You look dumb," he said as he chuckled, skipping down the stairs to reach the man in front of him faster.
Leehan giggled, it was obvious he was feeling fired up after seeing all the fish and being surrounded by the things he liked. Taesan found Leehan easy to read in certain moments like these. As long as you knew what Leehan liked, making him happy was easier than expected.
Leehan set his eyes on Taesan who was looking away, avoiding eye contact as he usually did. He could feel the excitement building up and it manifested itself into the first hop of many as he bumped his shoulder into Taesan's, repeatedly. Taesan stumbled back and broke out into giggles, against his desired chic facade. "Where are you going next? Let's go, let's go," Leehan urged, acting like a teenager trying to sneakily tempt their friend into doing something bad. His voice not loud but the speed with which he spoke and the upturn of his tone at the end of his sentences made it obvious. Taesan rolled his eyes, a grin still evident on his face, "Why are you so jumpy? We're just going to a clothes store, calm down," he chuckled, grabbing Leehan and pushing his friend's shoulders down. Leehan simply bounced up without lifting his legs, stuck in place as he laughed louder. Taesan, finding it fun but also trying not to look childish in the streets, rolled his eyes and let out an exasperated cry, "Ah! I got it, stop it already. Let's go!" He let go of Leehan's shoulders and grabbed one of his arm sleeves, pulling him to their next destination as Leehan chuckled joyfully behind him. It seems Leehan enjoyed seeing Taesan feel embarrassed.
After a few seconds and letting his laugh die down along with Taesan finally not grinning anymore. Leehan sped up a little just so he could walk alongside Taesan. Taesan spared him a glance but Leehan didnt need it, he leaned over Taesan's shoulder to voice his thoughts. Cupping his hand behind Taesan's ear, he spoke in a voice almost as low whisper with his eyes lowered to stare down at the side of Taesan's face. "You're quite cute today, Han Taesan." He joked, only to get an embarrassed glare from Taesan who pulled himself away almost immediately. The fun wasn't over for Leehan because he had another fit of giggles from that, enjoying it even more when Taesan smacked his arm.
Leehan and Taesan finished shopping at around 5pm in the evening. At this point, Leehan's energy ran out a long while ago and although he was still smiling, his eyes were obviously tired as he clung onto Taesan who led them to a convenience store nearby for some quick snacks.
The chime of the sliding doors opening was accompanied by rustling of the plastic bags Leehan was holding. Taesan scouted the place and found a table with two chairs where they could sit at. He walked over, with Leehan sticking close by like a lost puppy.
"Sit here, I'll go get us some food. What do you want?", he asked. Usually, Taesan would go for home-cooked food or something hot and fresh but Leehan was a picky eater and both of them were tired and hungry, they couldn't bother to wait for their food.
Leehan looked up, eyes almost fully closed, "Gummies... Strawberry ade..." He mumbled. Taesan hummed and reached over to ruffle Leehan's hair, chuckling once he pulled away as Leehan let out an annoyed whine, patting his hair down. "I'll go get it, just wait here.", he said, wasting no time for their stomachs were at their limits.
Taesan paid rather quickly and assembled both their drinks before bringing it to the table, leaving both their ramens to cook in the instant ramen machines.
" Donghyun, move your head a little," Taesan nudged his friend's shoulders with Leehan's drink. The sleepy silk-haired man sluggishly raised his head and reached out for the outstretched gummies without a second thought. He was obviously too sleepy to think.
Taesan sat himself down, glancing at their ramens before unloading the bag full of other foodstuffs. He got some kimbap, sausages and chips to accompany their less than healthy meal. He wanted to make sure they atleast didn't feel hungry after this.
"Do you think Jaehyun hyung would like the jacket? Isn't it a bit too plain for him?" Taesan asked, stealing a single gummy from the bag in Leehan's outstretched arm. Leehan let out a small grunt, "It's nice, anything you choose looks good anyways. You have good sense." He mumbled, pushing in another innocent red bear through his lips. Taesan leaned back in his chair, gulping down his drink, straw cheekily tucked under his lip. He eyed Leehan and once again, time felt like it had slowed down just for the two of them. Leehan wasn't doing much but at the same time, the way he was so still made Taesan's eyes wander all over him, almost memorizing the small little twitch his resting finger does every few moments.
The sight of Leehan's now overgrown hair splayed across his shoulder and spilling onto the table as he laid on a few strands of his own hair was photograph worthy. Taesan was one to realize that, pulling out his phone in no time, leaning back slightly further and snapping a few shots before placing his phone face down on the table. "The ramen, I'll go get it." Taesan immediately turned away once his phone was set down on the table, eyes now fixated on a boring ramen machine rather than his object of interest. Leehan didn't seem to notice his friend's staring, nor the little increase of volume in his voice before he stumbled slightly while heading to the ramen machine.
It wasn't like he could register anything right now.
