It opens up on Claire and Calvin in the medic tent. Joshua is helping Calvin with Claire. She finally wakes up.

Claire: What's going on?

Calvin: Relax, you're okay.

Joshua sticks a syringe into her arm and looks at it.

Joshua: uhhhhh, Calvin. I need to talk to you outside. Hey, you, watch her please.

They both walk outside.

Calvin: Okay, what's going on?

Joshua: She has radiation sickness. It's bad too. definitely from the bite too. The most time she has left is 20 days.

Calvin: Is there something that we could give her? I remember you talked about something that could take out radiation sickness.

Joshua: Yes, but its too far of a trip. If we were to take out a caravan it would take too long. She would've become a member by the time we got back.

Calvin: Wait, she can turn into one of those things?

Joshua: Sadly yes.

Calvin: Also, who said anything about a caravan?

The scene cuts to the inside of the medic tent.

Claire: Okay whats can you tell me what's going on. Why I'm here again?

Calvin: You got radiation sickness from the bite. But don't worry. I'm gonna go get the stuff you need.

Over that line it shows Calvin getting the watch from Dash. Calvin getting in the Camaro and him driving out of the base. Some intense music plays as it shows the Camaro speeding down the road. The screen blacks out and switches to Dash in the military base sitting at a table with Yeager and Jeremy. Yeager is on the opposite side of the table.

Yeager: Listen I don't know why I'm here. I was supposed to get up and leave this mornin but your guys cut me off and said I had to go here. Can I know why the hell im here?

Dash: Yes you can. We want you to stay here with us. Within the past two days that Calvin has been gone you have filled in his place. We thank you for that. To be honest its kind of hard running this place on my own and Calvin was my support.

Jeremy: Yeah he definitely helped more than I could. Anyways, What we're trying to say is welcome to the team.

Yeager: Well, thank you. I will take this offer. I will be happy to help ya out. If you thinking about leadership tho. Not sure I can help ya with that one.

Dash: No no, Just with help around the base. You are free to leave whenever you like but just talk to us first so we can get you setup with some rations before you leave.

Yeager: Thank you for your kind hospitality. I was going crazy out there.

Yeager walks out of the building and Jeremy and Dash stay there.

Dash: Calvin needs to get back soon.

Jeremy: why? You're the leader of this group.

Dash: It's just tough without him around you know. We don't even have a way to contact him. We just have to hope he comes back.

Jeremy: Yea. You know him though. He's gone through worse.

Dash: What has he gone through that's worse?

Jeremy: He fell off of a building, landed on a crane and then fought his way through a city to get to us. I say that's pretty bad and that was a few weeks ago. He's already off on his own again.
