Chapter 1

15 years later

It's been fifteen years since I last saw my little princess. When i was released from prison Letty told me all about how Kiara was taken and that she was adopted by rich people, but my little girl is gone forever. We never told anyone that we had a daughter, only those closest to us found out. Letty's memories came back eight months ago and month ago she also remembered Kiara.

I walked up the stairs to mine and Letty's room to see Letty sleeping on bed. I moved closer to her and brushed her hair from face. "Letty wake up it's lunch"

Letty opens her eyes and turns away from me. "I don't want to eat"

I turned her back to me and pulled her from the bed by her hands.

"Dom, I'm not hungry"

"Letty, Mia is will be upset if you don't eat anything"

"ughh okay"

We went down to dining room, I said grace and we started to eat. Liliana started throwing food everywhere and Mia had to clean everything up.

"I remember Kiara was always nice when eating" said Mia.

I stopped, looked at Letty who put down the cutlery.

3.person's pov

"I'm so sorry" said Mia.

"Who is Kiara" Brian asked.

Letty, Dom and Mia were all quiet, neither of them knew what to say. Letty was the first who break the long silence by pushing back her chair and leaving the room.

"We will talk about this later" said Dom and then he left the room too.

"Who is Kiara" Brian asked again.

"I'm not the person to tell you" answered Mia.

Dom's pov

I found Letty in our bedroom looking out the window. I walked up to her and touched her her hand."Letty I know it still hurts. You know very well that Mia sometimes doesn't realize what she's saying"

"I know but whenever I think of Kiara, I only feel pain"

"That's exactly how I felt when you told me she died"

"I don't want to feel pain"

"Remember what Kiara loved most of all" I looked at her and waited for what she would say. "What is it"

"Beach" she said and looked at me. "I'm gona go for a ride"

"Okay"

When she left, I was sure she was going to the beach to sort out her thoughts.

Deckard's Shaw pov

I pulled up to my sister's house. Today is her birthday and I only came for my niece's wish. I took the gift out of the car and walked into the house. My sister was just sitting on the couch reading a book.

"Hi Anna"

Anna got up and came to me to hug me."Hey Deckard"

I hugged her back and gave her a present."Happy Birthday"

"Thank you very much"

"You're welcome" I looked around and someone was missing. "Where is my niece"

"Where she is always."

I left the house, started the car and drove straight to the beach. I parked, got out of the car and saw her sitting on a blanket watching the waves.

"So here is my beloved niece Kiara all day"

When she heard me she turned quickly and ran to hug me. "Uncle Deck"

Magdalen Shaw had Anna with different man than her other childrens. Anna left her family at age of 18 and moved to the Outer Banks where she met Mike and two years later they adopted Kiara.
