𝙞𝙣 𝙬𝙝𝙞𝙘𝙝, long time childhood friends iris lilly and matthew sturniolo start to see each other in a different light and a promise is mad...
Awoken by noise in the living room, Iris and Matt were startled to find Chris and Nick rummaging through the fridge.
"You know you don't live here, right?" Iris laughs
"If you didn't want us in here, don't give us a key" Chris responds, tossing a pillow at Matt's head as Matt rubs his eyes to stay awake responding with a 'Stop'
"And you've always said to make ourselves at home" Nick adds
"Go ahead" Iris chuckles
Iris takes a seat on the couch, followed by Matt sitting next to her and snaking a hand on her lower back. Nobody in the room seemed shocked by this action except Iris. Matt could tell she was shocked by her tense posture proceeded by relaxation. Knowing that she felt safe with him made him happy.
She returns the physical touch by leaning her head on his shoulder.
"How are you both still tired?" Nick asks "It's 1pm"
"Nick you just fucking woke us up, what do you mean how am I tired?" Matt says "What are you even doing here?"
"We can't just come see our best friend?" Chris asks
All three result in a 'i know you're lying' face, causing laughter from Chris.
"Okay no actually we heard a noise. It was scary" Chris admits "Normally Matt is the one to go check it out"
"Do you mind us spoiling your time with your boyfriend?" Nick jokes, causing Iris's cheeks to blush "Did you think we didn't notice this gross pda engagement?" He sarcastically says in a playful tone
"Shut the fuck up." She responds "You're welcome here anytime"
Suddenly, her phone dings.
