"Can you hear me calling/ Out your name?/ You know I'm falling /and I don't know what to say/ Oh I/ I want to be with you everywhere"

It had been an exciting three months in Layla Dunne's life. She had been splitting her time between her apartment, the Canyon House, and the recording studio. She had written and recorded an album she really loved, with the help of Eddie. It started out with her just asking his opinion on new songs and this slowly turned into them writing songs together. When the final album was cut he was featured on three songs, and credited playing guitar on more.

Teddy Price (Recorded Interview): Always when people think of music duos from this group, this time, their first thought is Daisy and Billy. And don't get me wrong, they were a knockout pair. But Eddie Roundtree and Layla Dunne, a little more unexpected, were something too. When her debut album released, it immediately climbed the charts. And all three of those duets sat very high on the charts. People loved it.

Eddie Roundtree: I never wanted to be Sonny and Cher, never thought I would be. Singing love songs and all that- I wanted to do rock n roll. But what can I say? I loved those songs, loved writing them with her. So, yeah, it wasn't what I expected but I was happy. And for the record, I always thought Layla's music was rock n roll.

Layla Dunne: Oh! That first album! If I knew then that it would be the happiest time I had working on an album, for a while at least, I would've savored it. Eddie and I had such a good time with that album [smirks].

The alarm went off next to Layla and she started to get out of bed. Arms quickly grabbed her around the waist and pulled her back into a firm chest.

"Don't go." Eddie sleepily mumbled and placed light kisses on the back of her shoulder, the closest part of her body to his lips. She smiled. Layla thought things couldn't get any better in her life.

"I have to! Graham and I are going to pick Billy up." She persisted but the blond boy was unrelenting.

"Graham can go." He whined, in such a way that he would deny it to anyone else.

"Eddie!" Layla laughed. "I'm going, I already told Billy I would on the phone." Of everyone in the house, Layla called Billy during his time at rehab the most. Just to let him know that there was someone rooting for him.

"Fine, just leave me here." Eddie sighed dramatically and released his hold on her.

"Oh poor baby!" She teased, turning around to face him. He looked good, lying there in bed. She moved back into bed, straddling his waist. She liked the way his eyes widened. "Poor baby" she repeated, this time as a whisper, their lips dangerously close.

"Yeah, poor me." He agreed before connecting their lips. They stayed like this for a few moments, Eddie's hands gripping her hips. She had just moved down to kiss his neck when there was three harsh knocks at the door.

"Layla! Get dressed, let's go!" Graham's voice came through the door. Layla quickly got up, moving about the room to collect her clothes, as Eddie groaned with his head flopped back against the pillows.

"That's really just not fair." He complained.

"You'll be fine." She liked seeing him all worked up over her. "I'll see you later." And just like that she was out the door.

Dressed and ready to go, she met Graham by the car.

"I don't even want to know what I interrupted." Graham said, half serious and half joking.

"Good thing you've learned to knock, instead of barging in." She smirked at him as they both got into the car.

"Please, don't remind me. I'm traumatized." He dramatically complained.
