"Why didn't you tell me about your brother?" Taehyung insists on knowing even after Jeongguk sits him down on the sofa and wraps him in a blanket. Now preparing warm tea for them.

Jeongguk takes his time to answer, "You never really asked? My brother is mated too, actually. They live with my parents. Anything else you wanna know, maybe?" He asks with an easy smile as he comes out of the kitchen with two cups of tea and hands one to Taehyung while sitting beside him.

"Is it your brother who brings you all this stuff?" Taehyung wraps his long fingers around the warm cup, appreciating the warmth.

"Sometimes," Jeongguk leans back on the couch, head turned towards Taehyung, "I've told him multiple times to not do it, though I can't lie, it helps me big time."

"I don't wanna be pushy but why don't you live with them?" Taehyung asks next, Jeongguk knows why he ran away from his pack, what worse reason it could be for Jeongguk to do the same?

"They had expectations from me which I didn't think I could meet, in this lifetime at least," he lightly scoffs, turning his head to face the ceiling, "You might think I ran away from responsibilities, but honestly, I did it for everyone's good."

There's something peculiar about his tone, it makes Taehyung reach out and graze his fingers on Jeongguk's jaw, "Are you sad about leaving them, Jeongguk?"

The Alpha huffs out a small laugh, eyes turning back to Taehyung, "I am," he takes Taehyung's hand, making him properly cup Jeongguk's jaw, "Sometimes, I feel sad. But I don't regret it. I'd do it again if I had to."

Taehyung smiles, rubbing his thumb on Jeongguk's cheek, he agrees with the Alpha. He would run away at every chance he might get if it meant to get away from Lee Jisung. "You have a scar on your cheek. How did you get it?" The scar is small is almost invisible at times, but Taehyung had noticed it.

"Hunt," he shakes his head, "Surprisingly, I fought a fucking bear but then stumbled and hit my face on a small rock," Jeongguk says dejectedly.

Taehyung winces but couldn't help a laugh, "Were you in wolf form? Your wolf was so beautiful. I didn't get to see much but it was big and beautiful."

"You have different opinions about me. Trust me, no one has ever called it big and beautiful. It scares people." Jeongguk says amusedly. "And yeah, I was shifted when I fell. It had rained a day before, the ground was muddy."

"Now don't make excuses," Taehyung chuckles, "But you know, I was not in the right mind that night in the forest. Now that I think about it, I would have run away from that big wolf in any other situation too," Taehyung nods his head to himself. "By the way, you didn't ask, but I have an older sister. She's married and lives in a different Kingdom now."

Jeongguk nods, noting the new information as he sips his tea. After a few moments, he eyes the Omega again, "Is the colour of your hair natural?"

Taehyung is surprised for a second at the unexpected question, but it is definitely not the first time he has been asked that "It is, actually. My sister has black hair, and both my parents have dark hair. I still don't know where I got mine from."
