"I don't think you should be walking so much," a while later, Taehyung finds himself walking beside Jeongguk. More like getting dragged behind the Alpha because they are trekking up the uneven path.

Taehyung feels grateful that he chose to wear more casual clothes instead of a dress. Straight pants and mock neck sweater paired with an overcoat. Jeongguk has pulled up a long overcoat over his shirt too since the sun will be setting soon and it will be more chilly.

"I am not that sadistic, I wouldn't purposely move around so much if it was hurting me," Jeongguk shakes his head as he looks over his shoulder. Taehyung sighs but gives in, he seems to be doing that whenever Jeongguk is involved. But here Jeongguk seems to make a good point too and he puts his trust into the Alpha.

They have been walking for a while now, the path they took led directly from the back of the palace so there was little to no one around the area except some commoners doing their own chores. If the people knew who they were, they had respectfully kept the distance and given them privacy.

After a short trek, they walk on a relatively even ground. They sky looks beautiful from here, some lonely clouds moving around the vastness of it. He wraps his arm around Jeongguk's bicep, resting his head over his shoulder.

"Your parents are set to arrive soon. You really won't let me make a good impression on them if I'm not there when they arrive," Taehyung speaks after walking a long way in comfortable silence.

"Trust me, mother would be worse than Jimin. I bet you, she already has a theme planned for the wedding and how she is going to bedazzle the whole palace," Taehyung muffles his giggles into Jeongguk's arm, the mention of marraige still making him flush. "You don't have to try to make an impression, they are going to love you."

"Still," Taehyung insists, whining. He means to say more but as he opens his eyes he finds himself standing by the edge of a lake. A huge, beautiful lake. The water is crystal clear, reflecting the colors of the sky right now it appears all shades of pinks and oranges. There are tall pine trees around them and behind the lake, there's hills in the distance, not very tall but they add to the landscape with the setting sun. It is breathtaking to stand there and watch the scene before him.

"We used to come here for camping and to get away when things got too much for us. Yoongi and me, I mean,'' Jeongguk breaks the silence, hands inside his pockets as he looks into distance. "This was our safe place for a long time, until this wasn't enough. Until I needed a better escape, one, more far away," he glances at Taehyung who is already looking back at him. "Thought you needed an escape for the day," he shrugs, turning his head away.

Taehyung's fingers squeeze harder around his arm, lips pulling up into a smile. "You are.." He trails off, shaking his head, at a loss of words. "You are so..."

"I know. I'm just so amazing, like where would you find a mate like me?" Jeongguk clicks his tongue before he shakes his head to himself.

Taehyung laughs as he slaps his arm and pulls away from him to look around.

"You made all the arrangements? When did you have the time?" He asks looking at the camp setup, the wood piled up for fire, the fluffy blankets and a food basket.

"I only... need to place the orders, you know? Kinda missed ordering around, not gonna lie," Jeongguk comments as he walks over to where Taehyung is inspecting the small open camp. It's not really small, big enough to hold at least four people inside easily.

"I can tell," Taehyung peers over his shoulder. "You don't hide how much you love the control," he shakes his head. Arms wrap around his middle from behind and a chin rests over his shoulder.
