"Are you nervous?" Nora fixes the clutter on the vanity, seeing as Taehyung has been angsty the entire morning, making a mess of everything around him.

"Nervous? That I am in a wedding dress, again. Or that my husband-to-be is yet to return and get ready for his wedding?" Taehyung asks in a single breath. Fidgeting with the pendant in his hands, eyes fixed on it instead of the maidens around him who are helping him get ready.

"Or perhaps, nervous because the said husband-to-be has a penchant of running away from the palace," it's Jimin who pipes in from the other side.

Taehyung has refused to let the other Omega get out of his sight, wanting him close in case he was too nervous, he felt light headed, or wanted to throw up. So far, he's been doing good. Just a little nervous but not so drastic to throw up. However, very soon he had realized, Jimin himself was refusing to budge an inch from his sight, right now perched beside him, in his chamber– Jeongguk's chamber, getting ready for the big day.

Taehyung raises a hand up to stop Nora from fixing his hair and turns his head to Jimin, the feline eyes narrow as he glares at the other Omega. "Are you implying Jeongguk wants to run away from me?"

"Oh, nothing personal, sweets. It's Jeongguk, he runs away from everything," Jimin turns to look at him too, eyes glinting with mirth. Totally teasing and totally having fun with Taehyung's distressed state.

The Omega closes his eyes as he tips his head back on the chair. He hears Jimin's delightful laugh as he squeezes Taehyung's hand in a reassuring manner. They don't speak again as they are still getting ready, Taehyung doesn't need words of affirmation either. It's not like he thinks Jeongguk wants to run away or something, if anything, Jimin has been stressed the past week because he overheard some conversation and now believes that Taehyung and Jeongguk definitely plan to elope.

Taehyung's nervousness has layers to it. All the playfulness aside, he is actually getting married today. Even if they have been mated for the past nine months, marriage is still a step that makes him feel jittery with nerves. It is not all bad nerves, Taehyung is excited just as much. But the day is, if not biggest, then one of the biggest days in Taehyung's life.

All the Kingdoms from all around the country are invited for the wedding. It was left to be his decision whether he wanted to invite his sister or not, and if Taehyung was being honest, he was not very thrilled to see her so he said no. As much as he tries to understand her situation he can not find a good enough excuse why she would not reach out to him after what unfolded with Mystik and his mother months ago. And as much as he tries to avoid it, the mention of his sister brings back the reminder of his mother. So, no. She is not invited to his big day.

Taehyung had refused to aquire any information about his mother over the past few months and Jeongguk had been understanding, but of course, it was impossible to not overhear the gossips and rumors. As much as Taehyung resented what his mother did to him, it pains him still the same to know what his Kingdom has suffered as a result of it. For all he knows, Mystik did not surrender and Nevernight had taken it's troops back after a good few days of spilling blood within the pack's ground.

Taehyung pains for all the blood which has spilled because of some entitled asshole and his greedy mother.

That is another reason for his nerves today. He would hate himself if he jinxed anything but it feels like he is undeserving of so much happiness after what unfolded with his Kingdom. He has briefly mentioned that to Jeongguk and the Alpha was quick to calm his nervous mind with his words and safe warmth. But now Jeongguk is no where in sight and Taehyung is once again, restless.
