chapter one

Amidst the silence of the night, He stared at her sleeping figure through the night, a soft sigh escaping his lips, a tear sliding down from his cheek as his eyes were moistened and glowed much like the full moon that night, bearing the witness to his sorrow.

He wanted to hold her in his arms, but he was nothing more than an angel, her guardian angel, he wasn't a human to hold her and able to touch her

He recalled the various works he had done for her to be born again, to be her guardian angel, as much as his heart felt alive and beating upon her presence, it also wounded him, his heart ached to see her so close yet far from his reach, his heart yearning to feel her touch.

Taking steps towards her, he softly lay his palm on her cheek, but it went through as he let out a dry chuckle cursing his fate, her long eyelashes fluttered as her eyes squinted feeling a soft touch upon her cheeks, a breeze kissing her check as she opened them to scan through the room

A sense of longing, that's what she felt as she stared at the moon with a sigh escaping her lips, that breeze felt like home and she wanted it again, to feel it.

But there was it again, that peaceful feeling like everything's okay, a small smile was adorned on her lips as she went to sleep again

He watched her every step bewildered, could she feel him? He thought as a flame of hope flickered within him, he wanted to feel her soft locks within his fingers but that couldn't happen, his eyes showed longing for her , to see the love in her eyes for him again but that can't happen, he could only watch from far.

Throughout the night he stared at her, guiding her from the shadows of darkness, protecting her from malicious creatures.

The next morning

She woke up with a soft smile on her face and yet again her eyes scanned through the room, feeling the warm feeling enveloping her as she got up with a soft sigh getting ready for her work

Wearing her light baggy clothes, she searched through the room again, she didn't feel like she was alone at all, there was someone always beside her, protecting her, but she wondered who?

Taking the camera from her nightstand, she adjusted it and cleaned the lens before grabbing her keys, she loved exploring more than anything and taking in the view of nature was one of her favourites

He sighed softly, a small smile adorned on his lips as he let out his white wings, making them glow under the sun, they fluttered open stretching and with a final stroke, he was soaring high in the sky watching over her driving car, his gaze fixed upon it.

She was humming to a song with a small smile on her lips as her phone rang disturbing the moment, she lifted the call and spoke in a soft tone realising it's her best friend "Hey Jimin?what happened" she asked softly as the other person replied " Nothing i just miss you Yn" she let out a soft audible chuckle making him smile a bit as he awaited her response "I miss you too, I am actually driving to a location I found, the view is beautiful there" he hummed in response, feeling a flicker of sadness "I want to see you, but my schedule is tight" he whispered

She hummed in response understanding his situation "it's okay, we can always talk like this,there's always a next time where we can meet" she replied in a optimistic tone as he hummed sadly "cheer up Jimin, I promise we'll meet soon okay?"she whispered as he hummed "okay, see you soon", they bid bye and cut the call, she sighed feeling unsatisfied as she pull out and parked the car at side before fisting out her phone

The angel frowned as his chest was filled with a tint of sadness, indicating her unhappiness as he stared at the car, drowning in his own thoughts and doubts, he wanted to embrace her and take away the little pain she had, because it was hurting him, to see even a frown on her face

She searched through instant delivery apps as she ordered his favourite foods, be it spicy or sweet

The angel looked at her confused as he scanned his surroundings, it wasn't her destination as he went closer towards her, standing mere inches from her car, he peeked through the window, noticing her actions before sitting in the backside of the car

She felt it again, the familiar warmth in her heart as a small smile was adorned on her lips, placing the order, she kept the phone back in her pocket and started the engine bringing it back to life as she sped up the car

There she was, after an hour or two, in an isolated location where a single human wasn't present except her, yet she felt safe, because she knew, he was there watching over her like always

She was on the top of a hill, infront of her was the sea with the waves flowing and crashing with the hill as the sun started rising, making it beautiful infront of her eyes, the gentle breeze blowing at her face, moving her hairstrands

He watched at her mesmerized, her peaceful expression tugged at his heart making it warm, he grinned widely showing his bunny teeth, his blue orbs shining bright with amusement, those eyes sparkled looking at his love.

He wanted to backhug her just like he always did, move her hair that's blocking her face, feel her tiny figure in his arms while she looked at him with that sparkle she had

His eyes moistened but he quickly rub his eyes with a smile "this isn't the moment to cry, i am with my love" that's what he thought and stood next to her

He leaned his head barely on her shoulder, a feeling of warmth enveloping him as he closed his eyes feeling peaceful"i love you my life", he whispered, feeling his heart beat again, he felt alive as if he was living again

She gave a slight smile "thank you for being by my side, my angel" she whispered as he fluttered his eyes open staring at her in surprise

" I know you are here, always with me, protecting me, i feel so safe in your presence" she spoke as he backed away staring right into her eyes, his orbs shining bright blue, she was staring at his direction as adrenaline coursed through his veins, his heart beating rapidly
